Country Waffles

I orderd the strawberry waffle and it was amazing, but the service was excellent. Tiffany was our waitress. Despite it being really busy our food came on a timely matter. She was attentive to our cranky one year old. As was eating I looked over to see my waitress cutting up food and buttering biscuits for an elderly gentleman. Talk about customer service! This girl is amazing.

I don't usually go out to eat but I love it here. It may not be something as fancy as some people would like but I enjoy the nice cozy feel it has. My husband and service dog have gone here a couple times and will continue to go back. It's by far my favorite place for breakfast and we've had absolutely no issues with the staff members or food.

Just left this place, horrible service at 1:30pm. Walked in and got no hello or anything from the first server who noticed my husband and I. She just looked up, looked back down and waited for the cashier to give her money. Cashier finished counting and politely said hello, sat us, and immediately got us drinks. Thought okay maybe that lady is having a bad day. Sat for 10 full minutes with closed menus, no one came over to us. It was not at all busy, and we were 2 tables from the front of the restaurant where every employee could see us. 3-4 employees walked by but we never had our order taken. Upon leaving my husband asked a server at the register, the same disgruntled one from when we arrived, if he could pay for his coffee because no one ever came to take our order. She threw her hands up like who cares and at that point I said we aren't paying for any thing lets go. Hostess are nice but we will never be back.

Not handicap friendly. Went there this morning with my quadriplegic patient the hostess says no we cannot get be seated for 30 minutes. Every other place in town seats us next available. What is my patient supposed to do, sit in a wheelchair outside for 30 minutes? very unfriendly. I go to Denny's, Waffle House, Islands, every restaurant seats us first available. except for Country waffles. I guess they don't want us there. handicapped people beware. If you know someone handicapped or you have a friend or relative that's handicapped stay away from this restaurant. make them treat handicapped people like people. All the handicapped Community should stay away from this restaurant. Please tell your friends.

At first this seems like a nice place. It has a good old style setting. I love waffles so i was ready to eat a waffle. Howevever what i ordered tasted horrible and the steak my wife had tasted like it was old or maybe frozen too long. I about gagged while tasting it. It seemed that everything was cooked in dirty oil even the hashbrowns. The waffle wasnt that bad but ihop definitely makes better waffles. And to have a review below ihop is a big step down. If your looking for a place that has a ma n pop setting this placw has the setting but not the taste .

The food looks good in the pics but no outside drinks, for you Starbucks lovers. When I arrived, I stood next to the "please wait to be seated" sign, nobody attended to me for a while, but it was long enough to stare at the picture menu at the entrance. Later, they asked my name and how many (just myself) but then left without saying if there would be a wait. I guess there is no bar here. A few minutes later I asked someone if there was a wait and she told me about 10-15 minutes. There is a small lobby with seats but all were taken so I waited outside. However, I was seated in just under 10 minutes. At this point, I almost left twice, once because of the sign and twice because they neglected to tell me there was a wait. My waitress was cool. I had the steak omelette. She brought me a "Tapatío" hot sauce with my meal without asking, even though there was already a "Tabasco" on the table. That made me feel special. She didn't say anything but her smile said, "here ya go Felix, you and I both know this is better" She snuck that hot sauce in like I was her own from home. Good work, Laura. The food is just slightly better than Denny's for about the same price. But most Denny's let me bring in my Starbucks. I think the "no out side drinks" sign is getto. I wouldn't bring a Starbucks to an upscale restaurant, but a classy restaurant doesn't need such a sign. I respect the fact that they don't want outside drinks, but I always ask before I do at other places like Denny's. They have an IQ game at each table, but mine was missing 3 pegs, so I have to down grade my rating a star. The food gets a commendable 3 starts, the waitress, 5. But the host brings down the overall rating to 3 starts. Looks like this is a place for regulars. If you're in to those kind of things. As I was waiting, an older man with a satisfied grin on his face patted the hostess on her back as she was leaning over to grab some menus and said, "Thanks sweetie" but to me and probably her, in a creepy way. I hope to be that guy when I'm his age.
