Tacos Tarros

This is my first time visitng this place and I'm not sure how I feel about this location. When we first walked in we weren't greeted, me and my significant other looked confused since we didn't know if we were going to be seated. My GF then pointed out at a sign by entrance stating to "Seat Ourselfs". Right off bat I felt that this place was not going to be that great with customer service. After choosing a table to sit, we waited about 10 minutes before a waiter even noticed us. I was ready to leave at this point to be honest. No waiters around just the bartender. Fortunately a very friendly waiter was able to assist us with a menu. First page... Michelada $9.75 ? Wow was my first thought...then I started looking at the Tacos...since I am at "Tacos and Tarros"...$3.65 a Taco?! Geez ! Anyways, after ordering we got our order fairly quickly which was great. The food was good and the drinks were also good but definitely not worth that. After enjoying our food and drinks we got our check. $41 for 5 tacos and 2 drinks, it's a little too much for the type of service we initially got. The experience was made better thanks to our friendly waiter (whiched appeared to be the only one working at the time). My suggestion.... Get rid of that sign and assist your customers by greeting them and helping them with a menu and a table.

Yesterday it was the first time visiting this location which seemed really good but was totally disappointed trying to get our food for over an hour.. even for drink, taking over 45 minutes to get. We arrived, sat down and still took the waiter 35 min to take our DRINKS order... After waiting over 1.5 hours for food we did decide to leave and still paid for our drink and an appetizer that had taken 1.5 to arrive to our table. I am a very understanding person and know that food does take long to make but the place was not even "FULL". t was a disappointing night for my husband and I. ARRIVED AT 7 and left at 9:15PM with no FOOD and still paid our tab... WORST EVER!

The portions are too small for the price point. Lunch cost my family of 4 $60, not including tip. That was for 12 tacos, 1/2 cup of refried beans and 1/2 cup of rice. The tacos were good, not great. The beans were very bland and the rice was ok. The service was slow. The woman server was very friendly. The man server/bar tender seemed like we were a bother to be in there. He wasn't very friendly but he wasn't rude. I almost didn't feel welcome there. I probably wont be going back and I wouldn't recommend.

I'm not gonna lie I really like this place, But I do have some complaints. The energy and the customer service was good. My family said the drinks were excellent. The food was okay, but not what I hoped it would be. The fresh chips were straight from the bag :( and the salsa was terrible. The portions were too small for the price tag. The horchata was watered down...told the waiter that I didn't want it, so he brought me another cup of horchata that was much better. Wondering why they didn't give it to me that way the first time around. So if your going to have drinks and scarf down a bunch of tacos..then this a 5 star joint. But if you are coming just for the food...then you might want to think twice.

Food wasn't bad, but our waiter couldn't tell us anything about the happy hour specials and messed up our bill in their favor. Lots of options for tacos, guacamole was just OK, but the mango margaritas were good though light on the tequila. I'd still come to watch sports and enjoy some beer with an accompanying taco or two

Has been my favorite place since I've found it. Was there a change in ownership? This GM/he says he's the owner says an honest mistake is teaching waiters to pocket cash that was supposed to go towards the bill, and then double charges one of the cards. Told him he was trying to steal from us and had no remorse. What a great GM/business owner.
