Wonderful staff who know a lot about coffee and love to chat. Everything we had to eat and drink while there for breakfast was amazing.

This place caters to coffee snobs and people that dont know a lick about coffee, that just need to wake the heck up! The coffee is amazing, however, my favorite are their sandwiches and soups. Always a treat.... they are a wee-but pricy but you get what you pay for.
And Jess is the best

The staff is so friendly ! If you're a regular & nice to them, they'll help you at sometimes. They've gotten to know my name and drink order, so they've had it ready for me during the long morning rush. Sandwiches can get a little expensive but the JoJo is worth it.

Was trying to find an independent coffee shop and was glad to discover Rōm. Friendly, efficient service and good coffee—including drip decaf !
Was slightly hard to find using the entrance from the street address (when entering on Stetson, it's in this case down a level and around a corner; Lake Street has clearer access), but made for a fun stroll.

I really like this cute coffee shop tucked away in LakeShore East. Right across the st. from a beautiful hidden park, you can grab a cup of coffee or gelato and sit and enjoy (when it's not freezing). They have good baked goods and Latte's. Service is nice.

I've visited here a few times without disappointment. The coffee is good, the service excellent and the location convenient to those in the building.

The quality food, reliable coffee, and exceptional staff outweigh the higher than average price. Even if I didn't work in the building, I'd come here!
