We knew we were in amazing hands when we told them our cake idea…and they got excited! The team was super organized, professional, and super easy to communicate with. We booked Vanille through a partnership with our venue, but I have experienced one of their afternoon teas before so I was super excited to know they would be making our cake! The tasting was a sugar filled dream (everything tasted so good), and the team was very informed and helpful. We showed them some inspiration ideas, our color palette and we worked together to create something that matched our vision. The fun part for us was instead of a classic cake topper, we used custom D&D mini’s—dragon included. Our cake designer was super sweet, and excited to play around with placements. We couldn’t have been more in love with our nerdy lil cake. We also think it’s genius that Vanille will create a 1 year anniversary cake, so we didn’t have to save the top tier. We can actually enjoy a fresh cake instead of a frozen old one. Thank you Vanille Team!

We used Vanille for our wedding dessert table and could not have had a better experience! The team was so easy to work with and super helpful in guiding us on what to order and how much we needed. Aside from that, the desserts were SO delicious and everyone loved the treats. The team was wonderful day of and able to drop everything off earlier in the day for set up. 10/10 recommend Vanille for any even dessert needs!

Absolutely love love love this place. Been coming here since I was a student, I would get one dessert here for me and my friends to share after exams. They were a perfect choice for my wedding cake. Their team, Nicole especially, has been super helpful in the process of setting up a tasting, ordering my cake, picking a design, and coordinating the delivery. Highly recommend. Got a vanilla with marzipan and strawberry and chocolate with earl grey and orange marmalade. Both were delicious. Honestly loved all the flavors in my tasting, was so hard to choose two!!!

One of the best local gems in Lincoln Park, the cinnamon coffee cake is my absolute favorite. On a nice day, you can choose to sit outside, otherwise, there is plenty of seating indoors. With the conversion of the Starbucks across the street, to pickup only; I will only be ordering from here from now on. Highly recommend stopping by with family or friends.

This place is a gem. Friendly customer service, lots of daylight streams in the window, cozy place to sit & have afternoon tea or coffee. Flaky buttery pastries, decadently rich chocolate desserts, variety of macaron flavors. Obsessed with their potato chip rice crispy & flavored coffees. Chicago-themed treats available too.

Vanille created our beautiful and delicious wedding cake! We had a 3 tiered cake (vanilla cake with vanilla and rose custard and a layer of raspberry jam) and accompanying macarons for our gluten free guests. We enjoyed the process with Vanille - we had a cake tasting about 6 months before the wedding and we were able to choose 5 flavor options to taste in their shop. The flavor we ended up choosing was far and away the winner for us, and we had a short design meeting at the tasting as well. The payment process was smooth and easy. While Vanille is not a budget option for wedding cake, we felt that the cake was a great value and were very happy with the outcome. They were very accommodating as we had to switch up our delivery window a few days before the wedding due to realizing we didn't have the fridge space to store the cake. Would definitely recommend!
