Decent salads - would have given it 5 stars but got the Orchard salad and it barely came with any toppings - overwhelmingly lettuce and toppings were few, far between, and buried at the bottom. I do like the salads they have with Panko chicken, and their specialty salads and new Gochujang dressing tastes great. They are a good option, but quite expensive, and especially since Chick-Fil-A opened up in the same complex, might be worth it to go there instead and save on price for a salad like the Orchard Salad.

So, do you guys never check your food or expiration dates? Is there no quality control? The last 3 or 4 salads I’ve ordered from here that had broccoli in it came to me with brown rotten broccoli. I gave it one more chance after months cause i super wanted a salad and this it the only place in town that has custom salads like this, and once again came to me with rotten brown veggies. There was one time a salad came to me without any lettuce. I’ve gotten maybe 1 or 2 good salads out of this place and regret how many chances I’ve given it. If it happened once that’d be different but this has happened so many times and I’m definitely never going to order here again. It’s really sad cause once again, it’s the only place in town like this. And when you spend $15 on a salad you expect it to be fresh ingredients and good quality.

This is our default place to get food to go. I enjoy the Harvest Bowl. Whenever we've gone in, it hasn't been very busy. Could just be that we go during off hours, but we like it like that. I find, though, that they get my order right when I order online for pick up moreso than if I order inside to go. I don't mind it so much either way, but will probably stick to ordering online for pick up instead.

Here is a nice place to talk a bit about my fast/local food views. In general, I always opt for local places, and living in charlottesville for the past 4 years, I have always let them take priority. But recently, I had chopt recommended to me, and though I still had an aversion to it because it was a chain, the glowing recommendation meant I had to make a pilgrimage here. Let me tell you, this place is really top tier for fast food, perhaps the best fast food place in charlottesville. There's a wonderful focus on health here that also comes with a surprising availability of vegan options that really makes me feel like I have some good options to choose between. The salad is a bit light, so if you are hungry and looking for dinner this might not be the place, but it's reasonably priced for a lunch, the Mexican Goddess a fantastic dressing and perhaps the best I've found since going vegan. TLDR: best fast food place in charlottesville, great for vegans, and come for lunch not for dinner.

The salads are good but they don't fill up the bowls all the way to the top like in the pics on their website. I have brought this issue up twice with their support team: the first time they listened, and the second time they still didn't fill my bowl all the way. For the amount of $ they want me to spend on a bowl, it's not worth it anymore.
