The hotel breakfast did not seem appealing, so we decided to go across the street to this place. It's been a while since I've been to a true diner where it's fairly crowded, and the servers are extremely nice. I gotta tell you, it was worth the visit. My daughter got the steak and eggs and had the Country Fried Steak breakfast. The food was really good and I can't wait to visit again.

We were visiting from out of town for a wedding. We had a little time before the reception started so we stopped in for lunch. The 4.5 star reviews on google does not do this place justice! The food was amazing and our server was even better! If we ever travel back up that way, we will definitely be stopping in again!

service here is incredible. i get the same waitress every time and i swear the girl deserves a raise. wish i knew her name. but she is the best waitress i've ever had. i see how busy she is and she still gives amazingly attentive service with a cheerful smile on her face. this is one of the only places in champaign where you can find customer service like that.

If you are looking for that old school mom and pop kind of dinner this is it. It’s greasy spoon and a bit grungy but any local knows this place is like coming home. The food is good and always the same, the pie is outstanding, and the staff give you exactly what you ask for. If you are sensitive to loud noises or crowds of people, anxiety, choose the time wisely because their rushes are packed.

Absolutely the best country fried steak I have ever eaten!! Service was super friendly, fast, accurate, and my drink never got low and they was so busy people was waiting for a place to sit !!! The best service I have received in a long time !!! 15/10 rating lol!!! Oh the Hashbrowns with cheese and onions was also the best I have ever had!!!

Cozy & busy. Staff really hustle with sit-down & lots of take-out orders. Favorite with locals & U of I students. Fast service, great food served hot & endless coffee refills. I stop in whenever I'm that est in Champaign.

An old favorite when I was a student. Went back recently, not having been in years. Classic diner fare! Great for a quick meal. Extra clean. Friendly staff. My apologies if I annoyed you as a drunk college student at 2am years ago.

Got breakfast here with a friend. The prices are excellent and you get a lot of food. I had the mushroom omelette combo. French toast was thin but tasty and omelette was good comfort food. Seating is limited, but I definitely see myself getting breakfast here more.

Just as good as I remember it 20 years ago. No, it ain’t the Ritz, but it is the perfect breakfast restaurant. Simple but awesome. Excellent breakfast served quickly by a friendly wait staff. The coffee is perfect. Thank you for a great visit. And yes, I bought a shirt…..
