Tx Burger

Well, butter my buns… 😆that was a tasty burger. First time here, did drive thru and went for the “Maverick”-sized (1/4lb) cheeseburger with onion rings. First bite was met with a nice surprise… buttered and toasted buns, yum! Definite home style feel, thin, but flavorful beef, slightly smashed (for authenticity, lol) burger and crisp, fresh trimmings. I likened it to a tasty DQ burger. The fries… delicately crisp and tasty. (A small size of these should not be offered nor accepted 😄) The onion rings… a touch on the greasy side, but I think that was because they were fresh out the fryer vs. “been sitting there” type. Just the right amount of sweetness and not overly breaded at all! Luv that! Don’t forget to ask for light ice, tho. It’s always such a shame when they dare do that to a good Coke. Will I be back? Umm, yea! 👍🏼

My patty melt was... odd, I wouldn't even consider it a patty melt, didn't even want to finish it. Bacon cheese burger on rye...maybe call it that. I expected so much more from a place called "TX Burger". The staff was very friendly, the ice cream was great, place was clean it's just a let down on the food side. Oh and the fries are really good as well!

I went through the drive-through, had two cars in front of me before I ordered wait a good five maybe even 10 minutes before I placed my order. I ordered my food on Memorial day at 4:14 PM my food given to me at 4:46 PM, 32 minutes later. Which I believe after I placed my order there’s only three cars in front of me. It seems like they do not begin preparing your food until you get up to the window and pay. Seems like if they are going to do that they need to have two windows. And it makes sense for them to do that because I really wanted to drive off several times as I was just stopping by from out of town. So if you want to get anywhere or eat quickly it’s not the place to go. The food: all I got was a burger and it was very tasty and I was pleasantly surprised and it was fresh and hot as well it should have been since they most likely did not begin prepairing it until I paid.

The almost 20 minute wait in the drive thru, I would say definitely didn’t make the food worth it. I get that burgers take time to cook, but this is fast food and this is a drive thru. No hate, but everyone looks like they have no idea what they are doing or what order has gone out. The food was warm (this time), so at least no complaints on the cooking (:

We were a little skeptical after reading several not so good reviews. Needless to say, we tried it anyway despite some of the negative reviews. I just say this the best fast food burger I’ve had in Texas. Milkshake was phenomenal as well. Our whole family really enjoyed the meal and the customer service.

Burgers were delivered as ordered. Food was hot and fresh. Very tasty. I opted for the cheese sticks instead of the fries and was not disappointed. Family enjoyed their french fries and Texas burgers. One member of our party had the sourdough burger and said it was excellent. Waited 20 minutes for the food but worth the wait.
