We were customers for years and really enjoyed it. However, tried to order tonight and they wouldn’t let us have our usual order. (A simple request to upgrade to special fried rice and we will pay extra! ) in the meal deal! We were offering them more money!!we have put up with our orders arriving cold in the past etc because we always enjoyed the sense of community from this restaurant.. it looks like they have forgotten their values and their locals

Ordered sweet corn soup and wonton for entree. Soup was not up to mark, tasteless and they just left a shrimp inside wonton. Overall it doesn’t have any taste. Overpriced restaurant according to quality of food. Not recommend.

At first I had my doubts but the reviews were good so I thought I’d give it a go. I got a lunchtime special Satay Beef with Fried Rice. The portion was generous and flavour fantastic. At $10.80 I am not complaining. Usually don’t eat that much for lunch but this I devoured in no time. I had to wait a bit as they were busy, but I tell you, it was well worth the wait. I will definitely be back for more when in the area.

Great little neighbor hood Chinese. Ordered pork with veg and duck with plum sauce. Meals were great. Will definitely be back

Nice Chinese food. Had Scheuan Pork and was nice. If you are after fancy things like Live seafood then this place not for you.

Oakhill Oriental has really great Chicken Satay and Mongolian Lamb. I would highly recommend it. We come every time we visit the dentist here!

Food is very average but worse is their service or lack of - when ordering takeaway the guy answering the phone is just plain rude and take away is never on time.
There’s much more better Chinese restaurants in the hills - don’t waste your time here.

Bloody love this place. We’d been going here for over 20 years, since we were kids (sometimes more than once a week) Raymond practically had a hand in raising us 😂
We’ve all since moved out of the area over the last 5 years, but we still head over every few months for “Chines”, and have a great meal every time. Can’t think of one meal that’s come out if that kitchen we haven’t loved.
As a 25+ year customer I can’t recommend enough.
