Taco John's

To start, there were no customers at the store when we pulled up, we thought they were closed. Lol. They weren't thankfully, but, I have an idea why no one was there when we began ordering. It seemed like everything we wanted to order they did not have available. So we all just ordered tacos. You would all think why I'm giving 3 stars then? 2 reasons, first, the customer service from the cashier was awesome. He was extremely empathetic and sorry that nothing was available. Second ... Potato Oles, I mean that alone is enough for a 5 star review right? I know it's not the stores fault that they were out of everything, but a heads up with a sign on the counter would have been nice.

Just sat in drive thru for 10 minutes saw 2 night crew persons completely ignore me despite making eye contact with me at the menu sign outside. Time was 9:30 until 9:40 pm on Sunday, within business hours. Signs were illuminated still. Pulled up to the window and tapped, honked, completely ignored. One was outside smoking/vaping in clear view of the drive up sign. Management needs to get this service problem handled.

We love Taco John's. We go all the time during the day. Note I said, during the day. Don't go in the evening. Everytime we have gone in the evening the rice has been VERY hard, inedible. We learned our lesson and stopped going at night, but every so often have tried again just to see if they learned to fix the problem, sadly they haven't. Everytime we have called and they offer to remake it with fresh rice. It just doesn't make sense to me that they don't make their rice fresh in the evening too, even if it means throwing out the other rice, because they end up wasting money on having to remake food for people anyway. But oh well. I will happily change my review when they fix the problem. :)
