We had dinner on a Friday night and it was quiet quick friendly and delicious. Seems most of the customers order delivery nowadays which meant we had the whole place to ourselves.
Curry puffs and king prawns for starters were hot and had a nice sauce accompanying them.
We had a chicken curry with rice and prawn pad Thai for mains which were also tasty and filling.

Authentic Thai restaurant in Canberra CBD. Great service and beautiful decor. The cuisine is delicious and generous! I took the seafood curry with a Thai iced tea. Thanks again for one of the best meals I had in Australia.

If there was an option for a zero.... THIS PLACE deserves it!!!
This is easily the place with the worst staff and services in Canberra. With scarce a thought for your customers, or even a shred of respect, how are you allowed to operate with such disdain for your patrons?
The worst service in such a fantastically located place must mean that the owners are LOSING money! Could be the reason for such BAD services.
Sell this lovely restaurant to people who really love what they are doing and will do it with love and respect for the patrons.

Authentic 'looking' Thai resteraunt, maybe a bit over the top for such a small space, as the space could be utilised far better.
Located in a great location south end of the Melbourne building, but the exterior needs a bit if TLC.
Food was good but not great, overpriced based on serving size and offerings. Maybe also suggest changing the crockery, very weird choice. Chopsticks should of been bamboo or wooden, not disposable.
Place is clearly understaffed as appeared owner was the only one waiting on tables. Although we had our order taken and drinks served quickly, the table next to us hidden behind a pillar had been waiting 45mins for drinks.

It was our first time here, we asked for mild spiciness but the curries still turned out extremely spicy. The 2 stars weren't for the spiciness but the saltiness. All the dishes were way toooo salty that we couldn't eat anymore but kept eating with plain rice and drinking water. Other than that, the staff were nice and the restaurant was clean and had a nice ambiance. But it's the food that makes me not wanna visit again.

This place is great and it beats Kin Thai restaurant in both food quality and prices. I'm not related to them in anyway as I'm Russian IT Consultant. I just wanna them a great success and not to be closed as y Burmese Curry Place was closed recently. I was there 2 times recently and all dishes I liked. The last time I went with my wife and kids and everyone of us including kids liked this place most. It is a bargain for a tasty lunch menu is only $12.5 while in Kin Thai is $18.

Service was quick and friendly, meals didn't take long to come out. Unfortunately 2 of our 4 dishes were quite average. Our vegetarian spring roll appetisers only had noodles and a few shreds of carrot inside. The peanut satay main dish was bland and watery.

Great service, big tasty dishes, great price. The lunch menu is a killer. We have taken 4 dishes to share I was enjoying every dish. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone.
