Had a glass of white wine and prosecco with some nibbles. Really nice place with a touch of portuguese decor. Will definitely come back to try the food too.

A lil bit cozy with the indoor seating. Service staff was attentive but she's working alone welcoming guests, taking orders and bringing food. (we got lucky when we arrive before people started coming in).
Paid £148 for a starter, 2 glasses of wine, OJ, water, aperol spritz, bottle of white wine and 4 mains.
Food is great! Awesome starters! Not bad at all!!

A small bistro right on the marketplace. It gets busy during lunch hour. Food is ok, with lots of tapas-like options. Good for a date.

One of my favorite restaurants in Cambridge. Great location - in the front of the Kings College Chapel and around the corner from the Market Square. Good choice of food and wine. Always friendly service and cozy atmosphere.

Two of us ate outside on a Tuesday lunchtime. It was busy which made service a little slow but the two waiters were very friendly and created a lovely atmosphere. Cocktails were good and the food we had (chicken escalope) was really delicious and good portion sizes. I’m finding it harder to feel that eating out is worth it at the moment, but the combination of atmosphere and good quality food and drink was a winner here. Thank you.

Beautiful setting in Cambridge centre. Delicious food - recommend the vegan burger and pea and shallot gnocchi. Good cocktails too. All served by friendly staff.

Great food, the patatas bravas, calamari and mussels were good. We also had the chilli linguine but it was a bit bland for my taste.

High quality, well presented food with excellent service. Visited yesterday with friends and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience at The Senate. From the beautiful setting across from St Mary's church to the wonderful service from all the staff. It was complimented with delicious food for all my party from all courses. I would highly recommend a visit and will look to return in the future.
