Clive Burger

Burgers weren’t bad and their patties were decent, but I’m picky about my beef patties. So I wasn’t overly impressed. The bun was okay and so were the rest of the ingredients used, but I probably won’t go there again for burgers. Their coffee milkshake was delicious though, I might stop by sometime just for the drink.

Food is excellent! Service was great! Even when delivered the food was still warm and good. My only issues are the fries are way too salty, (all three of my visits were like this) and I think if they toasted the gluten free buns on something they wouldn’t fall apart so much. The question is, how to do that and keep it gluten free… the shakes are intensely flavoured and delicious!! All the servings were quite generous. The actual restaurant was very clean and tidy as well as inviting. I’ll definitely be back.

Best burger I’ve had in a while! I came to Clive when it first opened and hadn’t been back in a long time. I had a single patty burger, my partner has a triple patty burger and we shared a large fries. I would say it’s a bit pricy but considering that it’s on 17th Ave, it was totally worth it. You can tell that the patties are made in house and the buns are delicious. The fries are super crispy and addictive. Recently, I tried another burger from a place down the street from Clive. Similar price but terrible burger. I’ll definitely be coming back to Clive when I have a burger craving.

The employee (just to describe…he’s a white a mid tall guy with beard) was rude.. I even hear him being mean to delivery driver… Not a good thing to do specially in front of customers.he ate cooked fries and wipe his hand on his pants and continue preparing sandwiches..no washing hand nothing... food are good but not great..Employee should be trained for proper manner..this happened around 1:20pm to 1:35pm June 12, 2022…the guy facing me is rude…

upsides: - good size portion, appears to be real curds in poutine..but not impressive. downsides: - fishy tasting burger - pickled instead of fresh jalapenos - not everyone likes ONLY brioche buns - cheddar wasn't melted on burger - patties were small and dry. - if you can BBQ, save yourself the money. overall: - not absolutely terrible.......but if you know good/average burgers....you will be disappointed.
