Malonies

This beach shack Malonies is wonderful. Alex and his wife Concila run this place with his lovely assistants. Amazing food freshly cooked. Great selection of drinks. You can get beach bed to hire too. You can get a lovely massage too. I had great fun on the beach swing. My parents have been going here every few years for the last 20 years as do my aunt and uncles. All very reasonable prices. Nearby are these traditional ladies (as per photo) selling home made wares at very reasonable prices.

Located in North Goa but want to have a peaceful meal with your loved ones? What if I told you there's just a place like that and that too at Calangute. Malonies is at the extreme end of Calangute - but easily accessible from the approaches of the park Calangute hotel. The area is serene with the sound of waves crashing drowning out the din of loud music nearby. Even in peak season you are sure to find a table here. That's coz Malonies serves upto an exclusive clientele - those with a love of good food and a Love of the sea. The owner Alex believes in quality over marketing and let's his dishes served do the talking. Sea food is the speciality here and Especially prawns is Outta this world!!! Do try it out in your next visit to North Goa - you won't be disappointed!!!

Best goan food at a decent price. The owner - Alex is very friendly. He knows to cook very well. You should tell him what food you like and he will make it accordingly. Service is also very good. He also recommended fish that was very fresh and tasty. We went there 3 times in 4 days. We also tried their hukkah and asked the owner to play our music playlist to create a vibe.

Today we are visiting this place for the second time, and the reason is the friendly staff, great tasting food and super fast service. They will accommodate your requests of adding extra beds, towels, etc. The owner comes herself to take your order and if you ask for suggestions she will suggest some good food. Prices are very nominal, for e.g Kingfisher Premium 330 ml costs 80 bucks. Plain rice 70/- Chicken Kolhapuri around 230/- Atta Roti 30/- per piece etc. The location is just behind The Park Calangute....
