Tokyo Dumpling

Bad experience. There are always full every time we pass through so we thought hey man it must be good😏 So we finally went and ordered pork ramen, gyoza set(12 gyozas, 1 miso soup and 1 rice), medium sashimi. First of all, the pork ramen was terrible! Only saltiness flavor but nothing! The chachu pork cooked poorly. It’s really bad made me didn’t even want to take photos of other two dishes! Second, the quality of sashimi was low. So disappointed! The last one - gyoza set- I even think they purchase gyozas from Wolies or Coles when it’s half price. Not too bad but tasted very similar as KB’s. Anyway, I think it’s the worst restaurant I have in Cairns so far. What a shame.

Decided to dine here because it had a fair few good reviews. Ordered large sashimi platter. Waitress came out as she served other food and told us they had ‘run out’. This should have been known from moment of ordering. Ramen broth is neither thick or creamy. Octopus, dumplings were over fried and oily Agedashi tofu was pleasant. Beef tataki was not tender, and not enough ponzu dressing. Ordered udon in soup and it arrived as fried udon. The bill came with the sashimi platter charged, and we had to request it to be reversed as their sashimi was not available. Customer service here is very mediocre. Staff difficulty understanding English, wave arms around for service due to poor attention through night.
