Dairy Queen (treat)

Save yourself the rude treatment and skimpy toppings and just go to the one on South Park. I specifically told the girl do NOT put my ice cream in a plastic cup, she holds up the milkshake cup and asked me, one of these? I tell her yes. ( blonde girl with giant eyelashes) I also ordered caramel topping, we get in the car to drive home, open the bag and what's inside, my ice cream..... in a plastic cup!! with barely any caramel at all, maybe one tablespoon!! incompetent workers that can't follow basic instructions. UPDATE**. After the DQ apology response below, we went to give them another chance and again asked for our ice cream in a milkshake cup, ( we don't like using plastic) they refused to put the ice cream in a cup, I asked for the manager. she said I am the manager, I said I just made a complaint about this on Google and they said to come back and it wouldn't happen again, she said well that wasn't me and I don't deal with that stuff, she was so rude to us, rolling her eyes and muttering under her breath. We offered to pay extra for the cups, so she puts everything in plastic and charges us extra for the cups tells us she refuses to put it in and to do it ourselves. It was the most ridiculous, stupid situation we have ever dealt with at a business. When people are trying to be environmentally conscious and not use plastic and you force them to, that is not how to deal properly with customers. also when you order extra toppings at this location they will charge you for them but not give them to you! they always skimp on anything you pay extra for. we paid for triple toppings and didnt even get half of what we get at other locations!! I sent a msg to their fb page asking for a response and they got the message but wouldnt answer. Completely unacceptable. We went to the South Park location and they were so nice and put our ice cream in the paper cups with no problem, they said theyve had other people that come there and also complain about the rude treatment they get at the Abbott road location. We will take all of our business to the South Park location from now on.

At this Dairy Queen location, there is a worker named Sophia. I have never met a person who is so miserable and bitter, very poor customer service. I called this Dairy Queen before closing time, spoke to a worker and said that I had another five minutes to get there before closing. I got there and they were taking care of a customer. I was next in line, gave her my order and said “sorry we’re closed” in a very sarcastic attitude. I tried to explain that I had called the Dairy Queen and was told it’s still open.. with lights on still and she would not take my order and told me to go to another place. Not only was she extremely rude... I’ve never experienced such terrible customer service in my life! I hope you can get to the root of this problem.. because you will definitely loose a lot of customers with a person like this working. I will definitely not visit this Dairy Queen location again.
