Had the biggest Fish I have ever seen, opened the oblong cardboard box and couldn't see the chips because the Cod was massive. The chips were crisp and perfect. The Gentleman running the establishment also offered to fill my flask with boiling water as I was travelling from resort to resort. An experienced Fisherman of 40 years, kind and helpful. If you live in Bude you must eat here, unbelievable quality.

Very unpretentious cafe style presentation with the freshest fish. Just what you would expect from a place run by a fisherman who loves his work. Not a place to Impress people but somewhere to go when you want really good food at a fair price. I would recommend the excellent fresh lobster which was surprisingly affordable.

This is one place where I always make sure I eat when staying in Bude. The shop front doesn't look the best, but the food is excellent. The menu is mostly fish, and always fresh in-season. It's simply cooked, and not messed around with, so you really get it on your plate at its best. The salads and chips that come with the dishes are also very good. Well worth a visit.
