Hat Creek Burger

The food at Hat Creek Burger Company taste great. The Burgers are fully cooked and have a lightly toasted fluffy bun. The reasturant and bathrooms are very clean. The playground is perfect for kids 2 and up. I also enjoyed the sweet and tangy sauce option. They have fountain drinks and tea options. The fries are hot and fresh.

Surprisingly delicious and the fries are something to dream about. We got it delivered after moving in and I must note that it was cold (delivery company issues not Hat Creeks fault). I note that it was cold because it was absolutely delicious cold, which means that when we go back and get to have it hot it's going to be even better. The burger is HUGE and more than I expected. There was no lettuce or tomato on the classic, so read the fine print. The meat is well cooked and juicy, grilled onions, the bun holds up well. I like that they have cheese options, I love cheddar and prefer it to American. Now let's talk fries!!! The seasoning is fire and so perfect. They're smaller close to shoe string, however not quite there completely. I'm usually frustrated with cold fries but these were so amazing. They also have tater tots that are delicious and I had a chocolate shake that was pretty basic as shakes come but yummy. We will definitely go in person to try it next time we want a burger

The Hat Creek in Buda can be hit or miss. The tables are usually dirty and the fries and tots are sometimes so salty we end up tossing them. But when they get your order right the burgers are good and it's a family friendly place with lots of seating. They have their own beer on tap too and good milk shakes.
