Delicious Italian meal in Bay Ridge. Excellent service, daily specials offered. We ordered fried calamari and a caesar salad to start. Calamari was crispy and delicious, caesar was average. My fiance got the chicken special with bacon and gorgonzola cream sauce. I ordered the gamberi ortolana, shrimp with zucchini, artichokes, tomatoes and mushrooms. My fiance cleaned his plate. I was slightly disappointed by CANNED mushrooms and overcooked shrimp. When everything is made from scratch, including your croutons, why would you serve slimy canned mushrooms? Had to take a star off for that.

Wonderful service. Delicious food. Our party of 8 shared hot and cold antipasto. Mozzarella en carozza, baked clams, grana padano, sun dried tomatoes, salami and more. Everything was fresh and delicious. As an entree, I ordered squid ink pasta with shrimp, crabmeat and a red sauce. Really tasty, the pasta was perfectly cooked. For dessert we had poached pears. Lovely. Valet parking. A great dinner spot.

EXPENSIVE. Nothing special. Rather go to Casa Calamari!! Sophias is expensive for no reason!!!!!

This resturant is cool. The food was really good and the prices were decent. The only thing I did not like was the wait time. It took over 30min to get our entrees...overall it was a good experience since I was in good company.
