Update to my review of 4 years ago, which was simply "chilled atmosphere and craft beers." Now, I'd say - cornerstone of the local community. A place where everyone knows your name (or more likely: remembers your face but names are overrated ... And I've had beers, so, you know ...). Basically, the best place to spend quality time with intimate strangers.

A cool little bar. Good, friendly service. More of a cocktail, spirits bar than a beer Bonanza. A few good choices of beer on tap and bottles. Cocktail, spirits selection is solid and varied. Cosy atmosphere lends to chatting to all around. Prices were pretty reasonable too. Worthy of dropping in for a quick drink or staying longer whenever you're in the area.

I used to LOVE LOVE LOVE visiting Bosc and have had many wonderful nights there. The past 4 times I’ve been there though I’ve been a little disappointed. I found the person behind the bar to not be particularly friendly (I’ve previously had great conversations with bar staff) and the general vibe of the place feels different. I found the lights were too bright for evening time and have also been super warm the past few times I visited (no air con or windows open). I would normally approach staff and make a comment however I haven’t felt comfortable to do so due to the vibe of the staff. Hopefully it’s just a little rough patch as I’d love to return and enjoy myself again
