Location fab lots of buses and street parking, room was clean and staff friendly, water in bottles provided which was a really nice touch. Unfortunately it was st Patrick's day so the music didn't stop till midnight and then there was a fire alarm so we stood outside for 45 mins when we'd both just fallen asleep. Apart from that can't fault the place and will be back again.

We popped in for some food and a game of pool, never been there before. Very quiet, the lovely bar staff member Jake told us the kitchen was temporarily closed but we could order some food from a takeaway two doors down and bring it in. He also told us the pool table was covered up because Brighton were playing a match that day. We bought some drinks, had some food and left. The place filled up with people before we left. We spoke to two other staff members Abi and another lady from the Ukraine whose name we can't remember. And another man briefly who I think was the manager. Also thanked the bouncers on the way out. We were made feel very welcome. Thanks again.

Small room but very clean and comfortable. with a great shower. Suffered from some road noise being so close to the main road. Main reason for booking was it is within walking distance of the Xmas stadium where I was attending a Xmas Dinner. Access to the rooms is via a secure day to the side of the pub so no need to go through a busy bar.

5 star service from the people on the bar at the pub! I only caught one name (Victoria, thanks!!). From a pub that apparently had a bad rep has, from my experience turned it around!! They were all friendly and the locals were lovely too- the pub was also supporting local musicians which was lovely and it seemed to bring worlds together! They’ve made it look really lovely, they’ve got board games, pool etc and would defo return. Thanks 🙌🏻

The pub was nice! Really bad parking though, they didn’t tell us there was a rave going on that weekend, so music was booming! We returned at 11:45 and there was a fight almost breaking out, the barmaid (who was really lovely) ushered everyone off eventually but people were still sat down there till 2 talking and we had to have our windows open The rooms were clean and presentable tho and comfortable but cardboard under sink looked in finished at least paint them

Rooms were small but comfortable and clean, with great shower. Breakfast in the ajoining cafe was very good. Bit of music from the pub below, but finished at 11pm - to be expected. Really great location for access to walking paths on South Downs, a little bit out of Brighton town centre, but well-served with buses.
