Kimura

We have made Kimura one of our regular weekend dinner spots. The food is amazing, the service is awesome and the management team is very welcoming. We always have a great experience with the people seated at the hibachi table with us. The pricing is also very fair for such a great meal. Thank you Danny and Team!

You know when people make a reservation it is to avoid wait time. I would like to preface this by saying I am far from a Karen. But my best friend shouldn’t have to wait an hour and a half on her birthday just because 2 people from our large party weren’t there. I explained several times that those people were coming towards the end I ended up having to explain to my friend why they were coming later and ruining a really good surprise. Why On earth do I have to know what someone that is arriving much later is ordering in order to be seated? Such stupid rules. Inconsiderate. We’ve been customers for years, we know the food is great but that experience will have us NEVER coming again. Y’all missed out on good money from good people. Almost ruined my night but thankfully Longhorn steakhouse has common sense and courtesy and is right next door.

I would recommend this place if you’re sitting at the hibachi table where they cook the food in front of you. I usually enjoy myself and the food that way. Yesterday I decided to sit at a table and the service was just ok. The waitress barely made eye contact when speaking. My lobster was super salty and tasted as if it wasn’t fresh. I’m assuming it was a manager who came over to ask me what the issue was. I explained it to him and he said he would fix it. My waitress came back out with what seemed to be the same lobster I sent back but just heated up. The manager never came back to see if the lobster was better. My server didn’t ask to see if the lobster was better. I left the lobster on the table. She looked at it, picked it up and just handed me my bill. No concerns. No apology.

I placed an order there for pickup, 4 sushi rolls & 1 appetizer. I received the estimated time the order should be ready so I showed up 5min early. The order wasn’t ready. I’ve been waiting, seated on the front for a total of 45 minutes waiting for my order. People from the staff are not all very friendly, to say the less. They did not even give back a little something on the check to apologize for the delay. The customer service clearly needs improvement. & to finish, 2 of the rolls were not the ones I ordered… & it was easy to tell, 2 contained crab & I ordered none with crab. So, bad experience for me, I don’t recommend & I won’t go back. I give 2 stars because the appetizer was good, the food wasn’t bad either, not wonderful but they looked nice & were ok. No issues afterwards so fresh fish.
