Very nice evening. Enjoyable food. Not the cheapest; but then again, what is these days? Waitress sporting the hickey was friendly and polite.
Only real downside is the acoustics. Bit too noisy (think school dinners), could barely hear background music.
Also, as is the fashion these days, you are obliged to take pic of menu - a chalkboard on the wall - but the chalkboard was positioned above a table of patrons, whom I'm sure didn't appreciate having their pics taken by strangers all night!
Bit more drinks variety would have been appreciated: not everyone's a fan of ale. Plesasant experience overall though, and recommended.

This place is such a gem! Delicious food and a great atmosphere. I was searching for a place that allowed a large group plus four dogs and this place had these pods which allowed for a bit of privacy. It was perfect. The food was so good! No fuss, just pure delicious seafood for a reasonable price. The menu changes with what's available which is great! I'll definitely be coming back here again.

Sobo fish is my favourite restaurant around Bournemouth area! Food is amazing, always they have different dishes, they have a lovely terrace and staff so friendly. Quality/price is great! I recomend it 100%.

This has now become one of my favourite local fish restaurants. The lunchtime menu is an absolute steal, especially at £15 for two courses. The staff are so welcoming and mist of the food is locally sourced. The local Ale's on offer is fab and my partner and I will be back again soon.

Really lovely dinner, service was impeccable, really friendly and welcoming staff, helped us out with carrots for the baby made sure he was catered for.

First time here yesterday and l have been meaning to go for a while . We were not disappointed one bit it lived up to our expectations! Fantastic menu and food was excellent also the staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. This restaurant would put Rick Stein to shame . I would highly recommend :)

The best plaice (see what I did there) to go. Food is always amazing,the staff are so polite and knowledgeable. You csnt go wrong booking an evening at this hidden gem. Highly recommend.

We ate here on a Saturday evening which was pretty busy so we sat outside which is not only covered but it is heated and they provide blankets! The food was absolutely wonderful, we could not fault it, nor the service. Great value too. What a great restaurant to have on your doorstep!

My wife and I went to this restaurant in January and it was fantastic. The Menu (see photos) changes regularly reflecting the freshness of the fish. The food was fresh, tasty and cooked to perfection. I had the King Prawn & Clams for starter . My wife had the chowder. We both had the Bream for main. We shared a dessert. All Amazing! We had drinks and wine and the price was surprisingly reasonable, especially for a good fish restaurant. The service was first class, very friendly, but not over the top. Great place, amazing food Will definitely, definitely go back.
