Great lunch out with the family, we were served by a lovely bubbly girl called robyn who was attentive, chatty and kind. Food was lovely and she even bought Bertie over treats. We will be back

Fantastic pub! Food was outstanding! Served by Alex where nothing was to much trouble for him to make our stay fantastic! Would highly recommend this pub/hotel for a getaway in Bournemouth!

Once again, excellent service from the commodore staff. These guys never cease to amaze me. Especially Ross the general manager who last night assisted with a lost mobile phone. We had been on the grass area by the toilets opposite to the pub and when we got home realised we were missing a phone. Due to not knowing where we had lost it I called the pub and asked kindly if he "Ross" could just pop outside and call it to see if it was there.
As it happens it wasn't but he found out who had it and ironically the person who found it was 2 min from our house.
We use the commodore a lot over the years for food, the hotel and also thier private function area for a wake.
Always exceptional service.

Just had coffee there. The place needs a deep clean - it's extremely dirty - the furniture and tables need replacing. I had a flat white which was good but no handle on cup. I told her staff re cup.. the table veneers are all peeling off and the bucket type velvet
chairs are absolutely filthy.

Had lunch here while watching the air show , the food was delicious and the young girl Lilly who served us was so attentive and made sure we had everything we needed . Nothing was to much trouble for her , even brought dog treats for our dog 🐶 to the table . It was extremely busy and the bar staff were just as helpful. Ten out of ten on food and service. Will definitely be returning

They really need to apply table numbers. Trying to explain what table you are sitting at then watching staff go from table to table asking if someone ordered what they have in their hands is painful!
Had to wait over 20mins for dessert and asked two people before finally being asked what I ordered and then being brought it. Good job the food was nice.

Pop by the pub as it was my local option to be by the beach and have a drink while watching the sport on TV. It was better than expected, however I did not try the food just had few drinks and left.

We only came for a meal, but had a nice experience. Service was very friendly and attentive, with drinks coming out quickly. The portions are big, with tea pots big enough to fill 2 big cups.
The lasagne was enough for 2 people as a light lunch as well. Nothing outstanding taste wise, but decent enough to enjoy in the cozy atmosphere.

Really friendly and welcoming. Totally dog friendly too. We always like to stop off here after a good beach walk and enjoy drinks and food. Plenty of space and big tables.

The location was perfect because it's very accessible to the beach pathway. It's far from the boardwalk with makes it more peaceful the entire stay. The hotel gave a wonderful breakfast option
