Parsons' Bakery

I ordered a maple cake donut, regular maple donut, and a pumpkin chocolate chip cookie. Both of the donuts were great! The cake donut had a nice crisp outside, while still being moist on the inside. The regular maple was very moist with a nice chewy texture! The cookie had an orange glaze, and wasn’t my favorite but that’s more likely due to personal taste. Overall, I’ll be back!

My son specifically wanted a “dirt bike” cake. I called Parsons and even though they didn’t have a kit they agreed to make it. I ran them these little dirt bikes. They were the masterminds. It turned out perfect! I loved the little candy rocks. It tasted great. My son said it was his favorite cake yet, which was a punch in the gut because I always make his cake lol. Thanks Parsons!

I’ve always had such a great experience here. Whether for my sons birthday having them make custom cupcakes or a random day where we are wanting a yummy treat, Parsons has always provided quality and delicious pastries. I just discovered their raisin cookies and they are absolutely scrumptious. I also am a big fan of their sourdough and was pleased I could order their starter as I love baking bread at home. Two thumbs up for this bakery, it’s a privilege to live close by.

BEST BAKERY EVER. This is a one and ONLY bakery with a very old and celebrated recipe called the Alligator Jaw donut. It is a triangular donut sliced in half horizontally and filled with a delicious cherry buttercream frosting and traditionally given two little dots of cherry buttercream dabbed on top as "eyes" making it look like a gator head. 🐊 I spent many beloved moments of my childhood family reunions enjoying these donuts with family, many of which have passed on. Nostalgia and the fluffy cream combine for an amazing experience. Other bakeries have tried to duplicate this recipe but Parsons has the ORIGINAL. The old bakery was in Richfield and the next generation Mr. Parson has continued his legacy by opening this bakery in Bountiful. Everytime, I am in Utah I make a point to go and I encourage you to support this historic and delicious shop for all your bakery needs.

Happy Valentine’s Day to my classroom! The father of one of my students brought in valentine Cookies from Parson’s Bakery today. These cookies are delicious, sweet and beautiful! Every student in my classroom wanted another one! Thank you for making our Friendship Day so special!! I haven’t yet been to this bakery, but I definitely will be visiting soon!! 💜💜💜
