I love this place! I have been going to this awesome dive bar for almost 20 years. It is hard to beat the vibe here, cheap beers, darts, pool, shuffle board. What more can you ask for. It hasn’t changed a bit since I started going there.

The Sundown is a refreshing alternative to the fancy schmancy restaurant bars that line Pearl Street. Regular folks with regular financial resources. Free pool tables and other games. Friendly. Comfortable. Intense graffiti in the restrooms - almost overdone actually. Only four stars because it is a dive bar after all.

I mean this with the utmost respect - solid dive bar / pool hall, with a great selection of whiskey. Prepare to be transported to another time and DON'T put your drink on the pool table.

8$ pitchers of PBR!!!! FREE pool!!! STELLAR bartenders & STAFF!! This is the epitome of what a classic western bar in boulder Colorado in 2022 Should be!! It even has the dank mystic embedded aroma of a bygone swinging saloon door era....I love this bar!

Wait staff was rude and sensitive. Despite a good friend (whom was very polite) explained that his drink was not prepared correctly, the wait staff kicked him out. Apparently standing in the wrong spot is grounds for removal. Won’t be back. Don’t waste your time

I went to CU IN 1999!!! So old ! But anyway Sundown along w Round Midnight we’re the only two bars to go to that we went to. So happy SD is still there !! love RBI’s place , people , friends , bartenders ! Will def. Come visit next time !!

kinda trashy vibe still a pretty good bar. there are alot of college kids there though.
