Chowpaaty Chaat

Been here a few times before and enjoyed the food and friendly service ...today came for lunch buffet. Inattentive staff; my party was mostly ignored. Food in the buffet was cold. Had to ask 2x for rice, treated like it was an imposition, then told I would have to pay extra for any further servings (but advertised as 'unlimited'). Received naan that we didn't ask for and were scolded for "wasting" what remained. I don't ever give bad reviews but felt it was worth returning the insult.

Our family visited this restaurant today. It was HORRIBLE to say the least .They said they have chaat buffet and for $10 nothing was worth it. The curries were really lame. The spinach was so bad. My wife did not enjoy her papdi chat at all and she said the potatoes were very old. She alreasdy took a lopared for her tummy. The pani poori was OK . The basmati rice was reheated and hard to chew. All in all a disaster. I did not believe some of the reviews of them serving old food but I can vouch for that. Stay away!!!!!!!

This vegetarian restaurant has opened recently in our area. We went there about half a dozen times. Initially the food was great - tasty, spicy, reasonably priced. Lately the food was insanely salty, which is not good. The also seem to have opened a buffet and are no longer serving vegetarian only. Nothing wrong with that, but please, hold back that salt.

1. Place is clean like no where else. 2. The place has understanding of allergies which is important for me. 3. Food is yummy, new creations. 4. One has to understand going in that it is not fine upscale dining experience but you get more than what you pay for and yes thats the one final thing, food is cheap. 5. Things that i enjoyed gobhi prantha, chilla chaat, paneer tikka.
