Walked from country park to this pub as was recommended and it didn’t disappoint, we had a light lunch, prawn baguette and a tuna melt baguette which came with chips and salad, ham egg and chips, and a cheese ploughmans, friendly hosts and food was very good value for money, we sat outside in the beer garden as it was a nice sunny afternoon with our 2 dogs. Would Recommend and return

Went for a walk to Anton's Gowt and found this gem. We ate inside. Food was well priced and very tasty. Lots of different food on menu so will suit even the most picky of eaters, my son for example. But he enjoyed it and 4 empty plates later. Many Thanks

We were there on mothers day. Myself and my daughter. We had a beautiful meal. So fresh and tasty. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Im disabled and they helped me with all my needs.
Thank you for making my day extra special.
Highly recommended it.
Also great to take your dog to aswell after a lovely walk along the canal.

First time here. What a find fabulous carvery. Really tasty. Meat cooked perfectly. All staff welcoming attentive and polite. Great prices. We will definitely be back to try the rest of the vast menu. Kids loved the sweet jar on the way out. Excellent
