Fried parmesan starter and bread with pesto (complimentary) starters were delicious! The Short Ribs pasta dish was flavorful but the texture of the assortment of pasta and beans was a bit odd. Service was attentive but the space was a bit small. We sat in the back close to the bar and had to move a bit every time someone walked pass so they wouldn’t accidentally hit us.

The margarita pizza was pretty good. The lobster ravioli was tasty as well. Decent place in North End. $60 for two main dishes and a sparkling water.

If you’re looking for a great place to bring a date and have excellent food then look no further. The eggplant parmigiana is a great appetizer especially when paired with the lobster ravioli or the chicken ravioli. Everything was very flavorful and perfect temperature. The atmosphere was a little busy but it was 6:30pm on a Friday that’s a hot time. Would highly recommend making a reservation and bringing that loved one in your life.

Excellent dinner. I had spaghetti and meatballs. Excellent sauce, pasta perfectly cooked, and meatballs like my mom used to make. A friend had fettuccini fruit de mer, and my husband had pizza, both delicious. Only problem is the restaurant is super loud. Table wasn’t ready when we arrived, and then they seemed to forget about us for a while. I would go again if I could tell when it would not be full (we had 6 pm reservation on a Sunday and it was packed).

Really excellent service - my parents wanted hot tea as a it was chilly out but the kitchen’s hot water wasn’t working - the servers went out of their way to boil water on the stove to bring to my family, which we really appreciated. Food wise - we ordered the seafood platter, 4 meat platter, sirloin burger, and mushroom pizza. Everything was well portioned and tasty, my favorite was the Italian fries that came with the burger and the steak from the meat platter.

If you’re looking for authentic Italian in Boston this is it! The location is very cozy; but the service is on point and the chef does an amazing job with preparing the food. The lobster Ravioli was so good and it was a nice size portion. The shrimp limoncello was a nice appetizer. Very fresh I would visit this location again.

Overall good experience but wouldn’t say it exceeded my expectations, considering superb places around the area. Exotic mushroom pizza: great portion but topping was but poor. It’s simple w/ mushrooms but would’ve been better if there’s more cheese or garnish? Eggplant parmagiana: Layers of eggplant w/ lasagna, and tomato sauce was amazing. It was an appetizer with excellent serving portion. Almost felt like a main dish Enjoyed the service and restaurant itself. Would visit next time to try other menus as well.

Last winter, walking in the North End, we saw chickens on a rotisserie behind a grill bar in a lovely, warm-looking, cozy restaurant at the corner of Hanover and Parmenter. Poking in the door, we were greeted warmly and with kindness, by staff who seemed excited to discuss the menu, taking pleasure in their work. I like rotisserie chicken (when it’s cooked with care and imagination), and from the color of the chickens on the spit in the glow of the fire, I thought this might be a special place. It is, and it’s known simply as Quattro. The menu is diverse - photo attached - and a blackboard of weekly specials. Today was the day we finally made it in to dine, 2 seasons later… It had been on my mind since that winter day. Starting with 2 breads and 2 dips (Italian baguette and sourdough loaf, olive oil and pesto), it was apparent the focus is on quality at this wonderful restaurant. Part of the DePasquale collection of restaurants, which also includes Maré, Boston’s highest-rated restaurant, it’s one of many highly successful restaurants in their orbit (photo attached of the entire collection). We ordered a Caesar Salad and the rotisserie chicken, and shared the order without any complaint or reaction from our waiter, who was friendly and helpful throughout, taking the time to answer my questions about their process making the sauce (“au jus” on the menu) accompanying the chicken (it’s reduced chicken marrow stock). The sides and salad were also great, but the chicken was by far the best I’ve had anywhere, including my own kitchen. The first bite revealed a Mediterranean-style marinade or baste that left a dark, slighly lemony/rosemary/salty/peppery crispy finish on the skin, while the meat of the entire serving was tender, moist, flavorful, and perfectly cooked - truly awesome. Please excuse the term, but the first bite gave me a foodasm…beyond my wildest expectations. I’m looking forward to the pizzas, pastas and grills ! Go !

Ended up at this place for dinner while walking through North End. My table had the spaghetti and meatballs, weekly special - chicken and rice soup, and the tiramisu. For drinks we had the Sangria and red wine — Barbera (medium body, slightly fruit forward). Service was fast and attentive. All of the food was delicious. They have a large wine list too. Good vibe, not too loud, tables are close together but not so much so you feel like you’re eating family style. Highly recommend!
