The best hungry horse from many I have been chicken cooked perfect and the service I could give 10 stars the staffs very nice and helpful very kind I was order food and I my card not let me pay the price I ordered so I changed to other but the gentleman came with the first order I ask for I'm apprecated and I will be back again soon Thank you so much

Had an amazing experience in here this evening. I’d read a lot of negative reviews before visiting, but gave it a shot anyhow as it was close to where I was shopping.I was shocked at how different it was to what I’d read. It was spotless, staff were friendly and eager. Had a lovely chat with the manager Dan about the plans for the turn around of the pub under the new management and the new staff. He was more than happy to assist us, recommending his favourite horse-shoe homer dessert. The food was great and the atmosphere was lovely. I will definitely be returning again soon with my girl-friends for some cocktails!

Went for a family meal. Service was exceptional. Food was delicious. Best thing of all was hayley from behing the bar. She went above and beyond with myself, my friend and her granddaughter. Best of all she made a fuss of my disabled daughter, going the extra mile for her. Hayley, if only other people where like you!!! THANKYOU THANKYOU THANKYOU

A friend and I called in for lunch and we got a really nice welcome from the ladies. Lots to choose from on the menu but we decided on the steak pies with chips, jug of gravy and peas and was presently surprised when it turned out they were part of the 2 meals for £11.49. When the food arrived it was hot and looked good and tasted even better. The pie took up half the plate with nice Chucky chips, jug of gravy which wasn't needed as the pie was full of chunky tasty beef with loads of gravy and the pie crust was crispy. We really enjoyed it and when the plates where collected we were asked if she could temp us with a desert but we couldn't fit it in. There was no rush for us to leave and we sat for another half hour before we left and the staff wished us well and hoped to see us again and we will be back definitely 😀

This green king pub/restraunt on switch island retail park I by far the most opulent 'Greens' that I have visited so far. The entire venue was sparkling so it was clear that there was a very effective cleaning schedule going on. I had the vegan fish and chips which arrived promptly after ordering and was just enough to fill me up. This venue is on a trading park so the view outside is pretty grim but that is more than compensated for by the decor inside. They seem to have gone for a Victorian carnival atmosphere with use of deep reds and soothing greens aplenty. They have struck the balance really well making it very tasteful.

Went mid afternoon on Valentines day expecting it to be quite chaotic but was atmosphere was great and food times were excellent, have been to other hungry horse pubs and ordered similar food but this was much better! Great value for money. My first time going in a long time but will definitely be returning soon!
