The Locale

The food and drinks were great. I want to go back for happy hour and try some additional signature cocktails. I got the octopus plantains, skip those nothing exciting. The yuca bites are a must have. The chicken risotto was a little under seasoned for my preference but the chicken was moist and the risotto was prepared well. The steak was a large portion and cooked to perfection. The mussels were also delicious.

We went here for Saturday brunch I ordered the following. This is exactly how it reads from the menu LOCALE BREAKFAST scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, roasted potatoes, pork sausage...........................................................$16.95 I assumed when I read the Breakfast item it would have been a gourmet breakfast sausage, what I got was disgraceful. This is a high-end restaurant and I was served pigs in a blanket without the blanket, in other words, cocktail sausages. That is what they gave me instead of a pork sausage My breakfast was given to me in a bowl. I asked for my eggs over medium they came out well. The bacon was leathery and not crispy it felt like it had sat under the hot plate for a couple of hours. To top it off I had to ask for toast. They have the audacity to ask for $16.95 and I am served the worst breakfast ever. I guess I paid an exorbitant price for eating in Boca and the white table cloth service because it sure as hell was not for an enjoyable breakfast. Pigs in a Blanket without the blanket. What a joke... I will take my business elsewhere and get an enjoyable breakfast at a reasonable price.

Checked this place out before going to a play in WPB to try something new. Our waitress, the ambiance and food was delicious. Forgot name of our waitress but she had an evil eye tat. She was really fantastic in helping us narrow down our choices based on popularity and customer feedback. Would dine again. Made a 5:30 reservation so wasn't busy but when we left many more showed up. I always recommend reservations and appreciate them for being on OpenTable app! The only con outside of the restaurant's control and more due to S FL being overpopulated was trying to find parking but for $5 (not including tip) we used valet. A slight wait to get car back but nothing too crazy. I was obsessed with the manager's Burgundy suit and he was also amazing. Hard to find a place with great workers so glad we tried this gem. I do wish there were more appetizer options for the girl who doesn't love seafood or an option to order (garlic) bread before meal was offered. Most places just bring out bread. Overall, a win and we will be back! I had Tuscan chicken which was around $25 and my friend had the steak sandwich which was around $20 I think. Good value for the ambiance.
