Hooters

Extremely disappointed by yesterday's experience. I would normally contact through the website before writing a review, but that is not an option on the website, or of it is, not easily located. I normally love Hooters wings, and I have not gone out to eat since the pandemic started. Well I had to be at the Mall of America for something unrelated, so I decided to hit up Hooters after the lunch crowd. This maybe where I made a mistake. The food was dry, overcooked. Just terrible. I was extremely hungry but by the third wing, I could tell something was up. Had I just not been here in so long my perception had changed? I don't take another bite of my third wing and decide to try another, nope, same thing. I get the waitress attention, she doesn't really show any empathy, more kind of begrudgingly agrees, they look different. She says she will take care of it. I had asked my son if his food was alright early, he say yeah, but he is a kid, I noticed he only took two bites out of his tenders. So the waitress returns with six new wings, I ordered 10, but apparently since I ate four, really nibble on four because the were terrible. I understand that people try and scam and say they don't like thier food after eating half, this is not the case and I have attached photos to prove the difference. Very disappointed I spent almost $50 at this restraunt (2people) and was looked at as a nusance, someone trying to scam four wings. I didn't even bother complaining about the tenders as how I was teated by attempting to eat my original order. I should have received an apology for having to eat a couple.

The food and service was fabulous. The western burger was awesome. Great beef, lean bacon, just the right amount of BBQ sauce. Quality all around and not greasy. The boneless Daytona wings were absolutely amazing. They were not heavily breaded. More like dredged in flour and perfectly done, great sauce. Best boneless wings in city. Great all white meat excellently prepared.

One of my Favorite places to have a cocktail, Either before a Concert, or the first stop of our night. Great Jukebox and Awesome Happy Hour. Always a Great Time at The Well. The only Con..more bathroom stalls please! these ladies take forever, it's Hollywood so they always have to look in the mirror and hold up the line! ha ha Other than that definitely recommend ;)

Some time ago I went to hooters in MoA and yes a WI license is different than a MN license, but being from another state I was turned away from getting a beer. I asked for the manager and he said he agreed. I’m 28, and the manager didn’t believe I was over 21 and thought my license was fake. First and only time I was ever at hooters. I have written them off and tell everyone and anyone to go anywhere but hooters. I would rather have McDonald’s Seattle Seahawks hot wings over hooters again. It all came down to customer service. Poor service leads to loss of sales. Now I get hooters is at MoA, and that will always get higher sales than other locations, but if I can drive people elsewhere just for hooters to lose that extra buck, I will do it.
