I had a BLT and onion rings. I liked that the blt wasn't cut into mini triangles. The onion rings were extra but definitely worth it.
I've eaten here previously and it was just ok but this time the service/staff, the food, and the view were all great.

Super fun location, great food and so many options. We liked the omelette, pancakes, and hobo bowl. Service is excellent and the restaurant is very clean. Can't wait to visit again soon. Everyone said the burgers and onion rings are great so we'll go back for lunch next time!

Yummy burger and mountain of onion rings, made like at home! Friendly service, woody atmosphere. But no brandy at the bar for Old Fashions (I'm from Wisconsin...).

Food was terrific! Service was a bit slow because of proms going on in the area but otherwise was very friendly, helpful and apologetic for the slower than normal service. No real complaints though. Food was excellent. Already planning a repeat attendance.

Parkview Inn is located on historic Route 66 and has been in operation since 1925. Parkview Inn is the oldest restaurant in Bloomington, Illinois. Who doesn’t love traveling on the Mother Road especially when you can stop at to eat at restaurants along the route. Parkview Inn is located near Miller Park and the zoo.
We were seated quickly upon entering the restaurant at one of the high top tables inside the restaurant. The have an outdoor patio area but it was too hot for that. We all decided on cheeseburgers and fries. We were starving so we were able to eat pretty much everything but a few fries. We plan to come back next time we are in town. #bucketlist

My friend and I drive past the Parkview Inn and we decided to go in. Happy we did. Had a cheeseburger and some excellent onion rings.
The atmosphere inside was very cool and inviting. Made ya wanna hang out for a bit.
Will add this to our regular list of restaurants.

OMG Guys - THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!!!!
I haven't had an old fashioned catfish dinner this good since the 80's!!!
They actually treat you like they are glad you're there (loved the atmosphere) and give you a wonderful dinner for a price that is SUPER reasonable!!!
My 5 year old daughter actually ate fish for the first time and liked it!!! >.<

Would recommend! Staff was nice and quick, and food was good, the horseshoe especially.

For an appetizer, I shared onion rings, which were very good. Then, I had a very thick and tasty pork tenderloin sandwich for lunch. The restaurant is very nice, and we had a good waitress who handled a group of ten very well.
