Under new management A-la-carte. Had the beef tips and rice with Collars greens, potato salad, and macaroni and cheese, with a piece of corn bread. Clean and presentable inside. Small and very intimate space with light entertainment while you wait. Has a restroom as well. Desserts are available, we tried the red velvet cake. It was moist and very flavorful, not homemade. The portions were small compared to the price. Each side was $1.50 to $2.50. Serve beverage and tea. The Staff were pleasant.

Decided to give it a try and was pleasantly surprised. Oxtail is very tasty, not too salty, and very tender, not tough at all! The cabbage was on point also. Ms. Kathy the owner was very friendly. Don't be fooled by the unassuming exterior, come in for some truly amazing home cooked southern food.

The place has been a welcome to Southern cooking . It's clean, quiet and the staff are quite courteous. It feels like Sunday dinner from home.

Please get there early. They run out of food fast. But it is that good. I had the baked chicken with rice and Mac n cheese . And I was pleased

We went for brunch. They have a great selection of brunch items including 9 varieties of Eggs Benedicts. The Eggs Benedict is served on huge biscuits. They have many other breakfast items. I had a Blood Mary with bacon infused vodka. It was excellent. We have a variety of dishes and all were very good and large portions. The food was delicious. Atmosphere was great. We sat outside on the patio. It’s not exactly like it is in New Orleans but it’s definitely worth the try!

Hands down, the best home cooked meal I've had away from home! The people were kind, and generous with the portions too! Couldn't get more food on the plate, even if you wanted too! And the price was easy on the pocket book! Thanks Cathy, and Momma Ruby too!
