Hands down my favorite ice cream place in Binghamton! With over 50 hard ice cream flavors and a variety of other options like chocolate dipped frozen bananas and sizes in which you can get a great bang for your buck, Jones Humdinger is a must-visit when in Bing on a hot day! Although I haven't tried a lot of the flavors (I want to), I must say that Oreo Joe is SO amazing. It is coffee ice cream with chunks of Oreos! The coffee is definitely not overpowering and the ice cream is so creamy that I dream about it. The ambiance is like a local, old-fashioned, outdoor ice cream stand in which you can take a seat on the wooden benches and enjoy the cars passing by + sun blazing on your face & ice cream. The price is very unbeatable. Baby is 1 scoop, small is 2 scoops, medium 3, large is 4 scoops! Can't say anything negative about this place-- definitely check it out!

It was my understanding that they made their own ice cream. Knowing that I was a little bit disappointed as I was expecting some really good ice cream and in reality, for me anyway, it was good but not what I would have expected from "home made" ice cream. That said, the portions were generous. Also would have been nice to have tables out front. Help was reasonably cordial and service good.

Flavor of the week in soft ice cream was pumpkin. It was smooth and creamy and tasted just like pumpkin pie but better. The weekly special is usually available straight up or twist in cone or cup. Employees are always friendly and efficient. Prices are very reasonable. Big selection of ice cream treats. To us it wouldn't be summer without Jonesy.

Soft serve vanilla ice cream was very creamy and delicious. Decent portions. However, only the drive-thru is open at this point, so unable to read any of the hard ice creams. Flavors are not posted anywhere. There is no seating anywhere, benches are all tied up. Prices seen a little bit higher than normal, $4.40 for a small soft serve with rainbow sprinkles in a cone in a cup.
