Sagra Beans

Nice potential, but poor execution. Coffee is good (nothing special) but staff are not trained. In fact, the manager was telling at the employees most of the time we were there. The staff did not know how to serve nitro cold brew (tried to put in ice and seved with a straw). Prices are unreasonable for non-coffee items; a Horizon milk box was $3. I also found hairs on my muffin. Disappointed at best.

The coffee was decent here, but I don't think it's managed to carve out an identity different enough from the other 5 coffee shops that preceded it in a 5-block radius to warrant a visit for any reason other than proximity. I think the staff members are too new and numerous to provide consistent quality, as they don't all seem to know how to make some drinks. To be honest it kind of feels like Starbucks other than the on-site roasting (which is great but nothing new in this area), though with the addition of a ton of packaged organic and vegan products that look like a whole foods snack aisle.

Absolutely the best coffee shop in Bethlehem. Outstanding food and drinks and even more outstanding staff! I'm here almost every morning for my breakfast and coffee and the kindness and hospitality never ceases to amaze me. Not to mention the bacon egg and cheeses are the best around... and that's coming from a New Yorker! If you're passing through Bethlehem or just havent tried Sagra Beans yet, I highly recommend you stop by.

A fun local coffee house. It is nice to start your day with a fantastic fresh roasted coffee and a smile, and that is what Sagra Beans delivers! Besides, any time I can make my wife happy about breakfast with a cheese torte snack is going to be a great day! Ditch the Starbucks and get on the Beans!

Great potential, but failed short on my first visit. My latte was lukewarm at best and my chocolate cake was cold and a bit hard to enjoy. I expected a moist cake per the barista, but it was far from that! Normally when I order a coffee, I expect it to be warm to hot. This latte was almost cold. Not impressed! I hope they can get it together. It has potential to be great. UPDATE - I did let the barista know and they remade my latte. It was better the 2nd time around. I will swing by another time to give them a 2nd chance! I am confident they will be better that visit.

Despite what other reviewers said, I have found every drink I've tried (black coffee, dirty chai and matcha) very poorly made. The coffee was baked, poorly roasted and weak. The chai was unbalanced and harsh, and the matcha was waay too strong and bitter. I get the sense that the drinks were an afterthought in the planning of the cafe and they have not figured out how to make them well. I will return in 6 months when it is more established. On the other hand, the cafe itself is very pleasant and the staff is friendly. My wife's whoopie pie was good as well. Perhaps the food here is good, I have not tried it.
