So impressed by this place! Got the falafel plate and the flavors were spectacular. Even the rice was impressive. Falafel was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Got some Turkish delight for dessert and it was bomb. Perfect pairing with Novel beer a block or so down the street. We will def be back!

I love this place. One of the first restaurants I tried after moving to Berkeley and have been going regularly for almost a year now. I get the stuffed falafel plate and my partner gets the chicken shawarma plate. The serving sizes are great, food is always amazing, and the staff is really kind. Also never have to wait too long for an order. Definitely recommend trying!

Was there a few weeks ago. Their fist tank is HORRIBLE as the fish are too many and too large for the tank. They didn't even put in plants or rocks or anything. (those are pictures in the background) The poor fish barely have room to go in a circle. That large one in the middle has no room to do anything, but to stare straight ahead. Imagine years of a life like this- it's complete cruelty! I hope the owners rehome the fish as they clearly do not know how to properly care for them. **Update** Changed rating...owner said the tank was removed. Thank you for caring and listening to your customers!

We ordered the stuffed falafel plate and shawarma plate for takeout. Both the items were made fresh hot in front of us. The stuffed falafel was especially tasty. Hummus was a little oily than I would prefer. The staff is kind and good-hearted. We went just before the closing time and yet they took our order. Affordable rates.
