As far as small, family owned and ran, hole in the wall restaurants I've been to, this one has got to be one of the best. I went with a small group (4 people) and we got our food in a fairly timely manner, considering that we all ordered crepes and Alfonso only has one crepe iron. Both the sweet and savory crepes were amazing, and the espresso drinks we ordered were all great. Better priced and better tasting than Starbucks if you ask me. I will be returning next time I'm in Berkeley

I ordered the crepe with veggies and pesto, Delicious! My daughters enjoyed theirs as well. He is personable and welcoming! I'll definitely go back!

I've tried their crepes and their sandwiches, and while both were adequate, neither was particularly great, and there's a lot of great food nearby. I don't recall the crepe in detail, but the avocado sandwich was basic, on white toast, and felt more like a snack than a meal. To be fair, the price was modest too.
I'm living less than a block away, but I rarely go here, because I've always come away underwhelmed. I'd go again if invited by a friend who likes it, but otherwise, probably not.
