The Raspberry Lychee mochi donut tasted cold like it was taken out of the fridge. It also didn't taste very fresh so I'm not sure they bake these fresh daily. I went there pretty early in the morning so I wouldn't be surprised if they did that. The Mango Passion Fruit one tasted very good and fresh. I wouldn't get their Matcha Latte again. It tasted very watery.

Delicious pastries and delicious drinks. The staff that helped me was really patient, polite, and answered all of our questions about allergens. Our family will definitely be coming back ❤️❤️❤️the original and ube muffins were a top hit with my family + the ceremonial matcha latte tasted exactly like the ones we had back in Japan!!!!

Mochi muffin, mochi donuts, waffles and drinks here are comfort foods! I also like the cholocate bars they carry, a great snack! I especially love their staff here, always very helpful and friendly. Picking up some pastries and drink at Third Culture always brightens my day~! Though TCB doesn't have a store front in Oakland, where I live, some cafes and shops (Farley's East, Asha, Highwire coffee, etc) carry their donuts and muffins. It's great to get them when having my morning coffee.

My sister found this place when she came to visit me up north and I LOVE her for that because she doesn’t even care for desserts. Having said that, she is obsessed with the mochi muffins like I am. My favorite is the original mochi muffin and I also like the brownie mochi muffin. I’ve tried the match as well but always go back to the original that has sesame seeds on top. The muffin is heavy in weight so you know it’s the real deal and if you love mochi you will LOVE these muffins and will not be disappointed. I tried one of the drinks but wasn’t as in love. Updated 11/19/21 I FINALLY tried the Ube Mochi Donut and of course my signature Original Muffin and LOVED LOVED the donut. I bought another to go. My aunt favored the donut over the muffin but loved both. Best donut ever!
