One of the best thing about this place is great food .... All starters are awesome in taste and presentation. Really good place to hangout with friends . Ambience is mixed of retro and rural look which makes it more happening... Hukka is good and the service providers are so courteous and gentle .. hukka is served only on first floor as ground is no smoking area Table booking isn't accepted ,you need to walk and grab one ...Staffs are courteous and service is good 4 out of 5 star overall .. We had today afternoon lunch at Baithak with friends. The place comes with energetic & colorful trendy interiors. Got my hands on their veg delicacies like Dragon Mushroom, Mountain & Paneer Tikka Badshahi with Jack N Gin cocktail. Veg Pizza & Pasta Arabiata were too bland for my taste though were rich in toppings & ingredients. In the desserts, Blue Berry Cheese Cake & Sizzling Dazzle Brownie was enjoyed by everyone. Had lunch with a big group today here. The ambience is very vibrant with an industrial metal look. They serve amazing cocktails and hookah too. In cocktails loved the mai tai and guava chilli. Hookah was not strong and felt it light. In food enjoyed the chicken wings, roti and murgh butter masala. The white sauce pasta was a little bland but extremely cheesy. The desserts were bomb, many had 2 servings of the cheese cake and sizzling chocolate brownie with icecream. Great place to chill with friends

Baithak which basically means a Lounge stands true to its name with an ambience designed to unwind and relax. Located in the ever growing HSR layout of Bangalore, this place offers a bit of everything ranging from multi-cuisine food, bar – beverages and bites, Hookah, Foosball table for some fun, a really mini-library with some collection of books and of-course IPL on a projector ! Sounds like a perfect place for a Friday evening ain’t it ?? Since we are lounging over food, lets get to the food part first. Here to taste on the variety they had to offer and so when asked for some recommendations, out came the below appetizers Crispy Fried Chicken Let’s not overthink about this. This is soulful bar food. It’s crispy, it’s fried and it’s Chicken !! Happy way to start off with drinks to go with it. Spicy, tangy flavour from the sauces which were lemon garlic based is a feather on the cap ! Keeping it simple and flavourful ! Dragon Mushrooms Not just saying for the sake of it but one of the best mushroom appetizers I’ve ever had ! Mushrooms filled with cheese and spinach topped with a mini pappad and an extra point for presentation ! Mushrooms were fresh and generous stuffing of spinach inside with a crunchy outside layer gets them some brownie points ! With Summer already starting to get to its peak and being seated in the upper floor with the sun beating down during lunch time, it was time for some salads and all but obvious anything that has watermelon beats everything else ! Watermelon Feta Cheese Salad – Watermelon, Lettuce, celery, mint, feta cheese and house dressing ! Watermelon was refreshing but the salad as a whole needed more cheese and dressing. Salmon Fillet : Salmon crusted with parsley, lemon and capers emulsion served with mashed potatoes and buttered veggies. Pick of the day for me ! Salmon crust was party in the mouth. The Lemon butter sauce went very well with the succulent fish and the potato mash over a layer of veggies ticks all the right boxes. Gosht Shahjahani Biryani : Craving for something Indian and we opted for Gosht Biryani ! First appearance – good texture and aroma of spices hitting you. Lamb was tender and small chunks meant easier to eat. High on taste and it did eat well. A bit more oily for our liking but hey its biryani !! Some interesting dessert options meant a couple of them had to be on our table Choco Brownie with Vanilla Icecream – Warm brownie with the spoon going right through and the touch of ice-cream is very filling. Good portion size for one. Regular dessert on the menu and keeping it classic. Blueberry Cheese Cake – Another classic dessert. Not getting into details. Everyone loves a good cheesecake with a well balanced Blueberry for that perfect end to a meal. Getting to the beverages , the bar section is fairly new here started off just a few weeks back. Good selection of drinks to choose from, tried a few of them. The regular Virgin Mojito and Pom O Tini – Cocktail consisting of Vodka, Pomo Seeds and Fresh Basil. Probably needs a few more visits to try out other beverages. The place is spread across 2 levels with stylish interiors and different seating options. The ground level has an AC section as well more suited for families, while the one on top is kind of outdoor seating and can get hot during the day time especially in summers, but fans and some cool beverages should cool you down. The upper level is probably the best place to be in during the evening hours.Service needs a push here and they have a shortage of staff which they are working on getting things settled. Valet parking is available.

Baithak which can be called as Lounge in English. The place has dine in along with roof top available. We happen to visit this place on a Sunday afternoon, so we did sit downstairs as in Summer i don't think rooftop is a good option. The ambience is very unique. They have different zones for smoking and non-smoking. Sand is present on the floor, there is a huge book shelf so one can take books and relax out here. We didn't try the drinks menu here, probably next time we will try it for sure. Recommendations- Murg chandani, Corn malai tikki, pao bhaji fondue, Mutton pepper sukha, dum biryani Starters- We did try few starters in vegetarian as well as nonvegeterian like Paneer tikka , peri pero chicken, achari murgh but in all corn malai tikki was amazing. Peri peri Chicken could have been better. Also, nachos were served with 4 types of dips(beans, tomato salsa, guacamole and sour cream)and were great. Main course- Pao Bhaji fondue hands down. This was one of the high point of our meal i completely loved it. Also, we also tried maraca which was falafel, hummus, pita bread. The North indian food like dal makhni , roti , shahjahani murgh tangdi were amazing. Desserts - We just tried chocolate death and sizzling brownie. The pastry was good but the brownie could have been improved. Overall, the food quality and quantity was good. Will surely visit and have pao bhaji fondue. Ambience - 4/5 Service - 3.5/5 Food -4/5 VFM-4/5

This place has Sandy, Pebbly and cemented floors. So choose your footware according to your choice of seating area. I didn't try their drink menu, so I can help you with the foods here. In the starters, If you like Nachos - try mountain. It's corn nachos served with four different dips. Must try their Panner Tikka Badshahi, very soft pieces and good in quantity. If you are a tikki person, try cluck me - It is corn, potato and cheese tikki. Tastewise it was ok. In nonveg must try their Achari Murg Tikka. It is quite delicious. But Peri Peri Chicken here has to be improved. Main course you can go for Mutton pepper sukha with naan. But, if you don't like eating muttons, try their kulchas with Shahjahani Murg Tangdi. Both are good combination. If you like to have veg in the main course, try their pav bhaji fondue. It is basically cheese pav bhaji but the presentation totally enhances it's taste.

Baithak, HSR Layout, Bangalore . I have been to this place quite a bit wanted to try on their new menu that they have launched and thus went on to explore. . This place, Baithak has changed a lot in terms of their infrastructure over a period of time. I have seen it evolve for the good. This place is an amalgam of: - family restaurant - cafe - bar - hookah place And thus you will see a mix of people at this place - family with kids, couples, friends chilling and anyone who wants to spend some great time at this place. . Outer seating (ground and rooftop) : serves hookah Inner seating- Food. No hookah! . About the food I tried: I tried the following starters: Veg: -Mountain - these are Nachos -Cluck me : veg kebab -Paneer tikka Badshahi -veg jumbo combo: it's a veg platter Non-veg: -Peri-Peri chicken -Murg Chandani : had silver cover on the top - Achari Murg tikka - Non-veg jumbo combo : Non veg Platter . I tried the following Main course: Veg: - Paneer tikka pizza - Maraca - a combination of pita bread, masala papad, Falafel, fried potatoes, coos coos and hummus. - Daal Makhani: I try this at every place - Pav bhaji fondue - this was an eye catcher for me. Just loved the presentation. - Paneer makhani Biryani . Non-Veg: -BBQ Glazed Lamb chops - presentated well but taste could have been better -Cast away pizza -Shahjahani murg tangri - tasted great -Mutton pepper sukka - I liked the flavour -Hyderabadi Dum Biryani -Breads - Roti, Naan,etc . Desserts -Sizzle Dazzle brownie -Chocolate Death . My Ratings: Food: Veg and Non Veg both are good: 4/5 Ambience: A nice place for all age groups except the presence of children where people have hookah: 4/5 Service: service is good: 4/5 Presentation: Looks good: 4/5 . We wanted to explore something new both in ambiance and food so thought of visiting Baithak. Ambiance was kind of OK, however food was good. We tried 4-5 different varieties of starters and I personally recommend "The Real Deal" and "Cluck Me" which were exceptional in taste. They serve Hookah as well which has separate dining section upstairs.
