Kitchen Katta

Being originally from Mumbai, me and my husband were craving for some authentic Maharashtrian cusine. This place ticks that box to the fullest. Love their sabudana kichidi, misal pav, puri bhaji, poha... All very true to Maharashtrian taste! They have recently relocated and the place is now much more spacious. It's a very well maintained, and clean place.

Used to frequent this place when it first started out while I was still a student. Was great hygienic food at moderate prices. The ambience used to be reminiscent of old fashioned Bollywood movies. They used to play old Hindi songs on a Cd/casette player/radio. Had a unique menu and was always a good experience dining in there. My favourite was the Dabeli. Hope it's still as good!

Being a Maharashtrian, very few hotels which serve Maharashtrian cuisine would impress me. This is one such place. Their food is simple and get tasty. Portion size is enough for a person. Very reasonably priced. Finding a seat here is usually the most difficult part as it's a very small place. This place works on a self serve concept, however the staff here are kind and serve with a smile. Do have their Coconut Poha, Pithla Bhakar and Usle.
