This place is pure vegetarian and they have many options! Sahi puri is must! Also their moong daal halwa 😍 Service is slow, though there wasn’t much crowd the waiters were standing in one place and chit chatting. Need to call them multiple times for serving water or clearing the plates. They have two floors at J P nagar center, 2 nd floor is for buffet. Well maintained place. Only thing is they need to work in their cutlery.

The food at 1947 restaurant left much to be desired, as it turned out to be quite average. However, the ambiance was a highlight, with its charming decor taking us back to the year it's named after. The waiters added to the nostalgic experience, donning outfits that matched the theme of 1947. For starter I tried paneer tikka, which I found to be quite satisfying. Moving on to the main course, I opted for the butter naan and kadai mushroom. Unfortunately, the kadai mushroom failed to impress, as it lacked the flavorful punch I was hoping for. Later, I gave the dal khichdi a try, but it also fell short of expectations and turned out to be just average. In summary, while the ambiance and service were noteworthy, the overall dining experience at 1947 restaurant could be described as average due to the lackluster taste of some of their main course dishes

I visited this place to explore Jain food and was surprised to find this place to be the best for Jain food in JP Nagar. I ordered crispy baby corn and Paneer masala, and it was perfect. I visited this place on Monday and this was not crowded, the service was nice and the staff suggested us the dishes to try in the Jain food options available with them.
