Bella Notte

My wife and I escaped the chaoticness of our young children by booking a quick stay at the Jones Beach hotel and attending the Lumineers concert at the Jones Beach amphitheater..We were pressed for time before the show and literally trekked out in search of a place to eat. We pulled into this establishment on a whim, based on convenience only ( we are not from the area). We lucked out!!!!! The food was amazing! The service was exceptional!!! The vibe and ambiance was perfect!!!! I love Italian food, and it is my absolute favorite cuisine. l have fond memories of eating at Italian restaurants in the south end of Springfield, Massachusetts on special occasions in the 1970's and 1980's as a youngster. Thinking about those times warms my heart to the core. Bella Notte brought me back! My wife and I devoured two hearty dishes of bolognese with pasta . It was eccezionale!! Our server was a gem and our whole experience, though fleeting because of our pressed time to attend the concert, was great! We will definitely be back to Bella Notte in the near future.Magnifico!

I’ve read some great reviews on this restaurant and decided to try it out. The bar area was excellent and the bartender made very good drinks. The pours were great. We sat down for dinner, and we were immediately greeted by the owner. Our waitress I loved. You could tell she’s been doing this a very long time, and that she loved what she did. She made it friendly professional, and she was very attentive to our needs. Definitely five stars for service. The food was delicious. They over cooked the first pork chops that came out but immediately after we complained nicely, they got us two new porkchops and bought us a round of drinks. I will definitely be back to this restaurant. Going to get five stars for service. Five stars for atmosphere. And four stars for food only because an experienced chef should not overcook a pork chop especially when the waitress was advised, we like it medium rare. It goes to tell you that didn’t look at what the waitress wrote or maybe it’s with something else. It wasn’t slammed busy there and you should’ve got it right the first time when it comes to being an experienced chef.
