Hidden gem in Bellevue. It is right off Main street but is an amazing place. Food is very reasonably priced considering the great quality and big portions. Loved the sushi & tempura combination. Sushi was super fresh and melted in your mouth. The service is great with enough staff to keep all of the customers pleased.

Delicious food and great service! Had the sashimi deluxe and did not regret! Portions are big, which I love 💕

If you are looking for authentic sushi 🍣. This is the place to come to. The traditional vibe was a welcome addition. I liked the freshness of the tuna and salmon that they used. But if im being honest i was more satisfied eating sushi and japonesa down the road from this place. But in the end if you are looking for an authentic place then this place is for you.

Good service, plenty of vegetarian options. We were here for a birthday dinner and ordered many dishes. The parking situation is a bit challenging.

We lived down the street for 4 months and only discovered this place on our very last night here. We sat at the bar and had the greatest experience watching the food be prepared in front of us. They have the most amazing sushi myself and my fiancé have had. The fish is fresh, great portion sizes, and amazing flavor all the way from the miso soup to the nigiri. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place to any sushi lovers as a must-eat.

After trying several sushi places in the area, Ginza is by far my favorite, I’m surprised it’s not more popular than Japonessa or I Love Sushi. It’s my go-to for high quality and affordable sushi. Their tuna reminds me of the tuna I had in Japan (it has a creamy and buttery texture). Rice is cooked and seasoned perfectly. I haven’t actually tried their rolls yet, but the sashimi and nigiri are all great. They also have a complimentary cucumber appetizer (sunomono) and fruit plate which is a lovely way to finish the meal. This place is traditional and authentic, I would highly recommend it.

Wow! Who knew there was such a gem in Bellevue? Yummy Japanese comfort food and at great prices. They have a wide selection of sushi, sashimi, hot dishes, appetizers, rice… etc. We ordered: - hot stone plate beef tongue (yummy especially with the dipping sauce) - fried oysters (because you can’t go wrong with this and I love the cabbage salad that comes with it) - sashimi deluxe (holy cow the pieces were huge, definitely bigger than standard) - uni sushi (Japanese uni) - seaweed salad (great palate cleanser) - best for last : pumpkin fried rice the kabocha is my favorite pumpkin. The skin is edible! The pumpkin comes completely overfilled with fried rice. Solid spot of you are craving Japanese food and want a bit of everything.

Gina is interesting because they have the standard stuff you'd expect from the average Japanese restaurant (sushi/sashimi including some crazy rolls, katsu, teriyaki) which is all done pretty well, and then they have a whole izakaya menu of stuff that's much less common (broiled beef tongue with tea salt, squash stir fried rice, etc). I was with family and we didn't get to try as much of the izakaya menu as I would have liked, but it definitely seems worth checking out -it's practically a whole separate restaurant. Of the more standard things, it's well done but nothing super special, but if you need somewhere reliable I'd definitely recommend it!
