Celebrated an anniversary here with a reservation and flower delivery. We had a fantastic time. Our waitress was gracious - took requested photos to celebrate the occasion and surprised us with glasses of champagne to make a toast. The food looked and tasted great. Highly recommended!

While the common complaint I see with other reviews for Alchemy Elements is that it is overpriced, I found the prices pretty congruent with any other restaurant with creative and delicious offerings. Overall, it is not that expensive for something like date night anyway, with a meal for two of us coming out to about a buck twenty-five. Combination of chic decor, great food and a pretty impressive drinks list that most mixologists would be proud of, Alchemy Elements is a cool departure from the norm in the Harford County restaurant scene. The menu has some dishes that really pique interest since they have cool iterations on commonly done dishes like calamari or seared salmon. All of what we ordered was quite good, and the plating on one specific dish, the Burrata, was very pleasing to the eye. The wine list is pretty extensive, somewhere between 20-30 if I recall correctly. There is also a great cocktail menu that most will enjoy, and at 9.50 to 11 bucks, they are cheaper than other drink programs I have seen. Would recommend for a more casual date night, since the vibes aren't too pretentious here. Just good food and good drinks.

We were passing through on our way to NY. We were impressed from the moment we walked in The ambience is classy but laid back. It’s very clear that the owner takes a lot of pride in their establishment. We had the house smoked fish board and crab cakes - both were excellent. The flavors came through nicely and were not overly salty. The crab cakes were as pretty as they were delicious, loaded with lump crab.

We’ve been to Alchemy Elements a few times, and just like other restaurants with some age, they start to lose a little something. In the case of Alchemy Elements, I think they just stopped paying attention to the details. I’ve had the crab cakes here before, and they are usually good. This time, they were just dry lumps on the plate. No presentation, no side of any type of garnish, just a smear of some bland sauce. The rack of lamb was good, just not great. The flavor just didn’t jump at you like it should; it just laid there. The service was good, although it took a while to get our drinks and the bar was out of a couple of the better draft selections. Don’t get me wrong, Alchemy Elements is still a good restaurant - just not as good as it used to be.

My first time here and will definitely be back.I had the roasted red snapper over garlic smashed potatoes, wife had the steak Alchemy.the steak would melt in your mouth tender, the snapper was just so good you just have to try it for yourself. in the pic was the desert board sampler. A bit more $than some but quality costs a bit more .worth every penny. Our server James was very attentive, he knew the menu and the food and helped us choose our selection. Will be back soon

Every single meal is outstanding. Great specials and happy hour. The cheff and the owner is the cheff of the year in restaurant industry and the menu is so unique and not overpriced. Highly recommend.

Going through the lunch menu, I haven’t liked more than 1 thing so far. I love their crab cake sandwich! Though I have to say, I’m not loving their dessert selection even though I know that their carrot cake is a huge hit. I’m not a fan of carrot cake so I tried the peanut butter cake. It wasn’t as moist as I would have liked and not enough frosting for a dense cake so large. Definitely not worth the $9.
