Finally ticked off a bucket list item. It lives up to expectations! The sound of the buzzers can take away from the atmosphere a little, but it means that you are served quickly and efficiently in this high traffic bakery. Fantastic food and coffee in a beautiful old building.

Bleechworth bakery feels like an historical landmark. Interesting indoor setup. Friendly staff. Bread last much longer than expected. A good place to stop if allowing a small detour on your road trip.

How can you go to Beechworth and not stop at the OG Beechworth Bakery?! 100% worth a stop every single time, no matter how many times you visit this beautiful little town!
We love to dine in (always busy – but two levels of seating help accommodate for this) and we always order a Plain Beef Pie and a Beesting each, every time we visit! Absolutely delicious – can do no wrong and is perfect every single time!
The staff are always under the pump but are always so friendly! I’m not a parent but I’m aware that there are always kids dining in at the restaurant and highchairs are there for use.
Highly recommend taking the time to stop at Beechworth Bakery! ❤️

A must stop if you are ever down this way. Such a pretty store with dine in or takeaway with inside and outside tables. The range of gorgeous pastries,cakes and sandwiches is huge and they all looked delicious. We grabbed some takeaway gourmet pies for dinner this evening. Butter chicken and Pork bourbon and their famous vanilla slices for dessert. … if they last that long. The staff are friendly and helpful a great lunch spot.

Bought a supposed sourdough loaf and was very disappointed. Might as well have bought regular white bread from the supermarket - would've been cheaper AND tasted better. I don't think the baker even knows what sourdough is. Pies were ok but nothing to write home about. Definitely NOT worth the drive!

Only here to buy the beesting cakes.
Service was great, very friendly. The place is spacious and they have seatings outside the store.

Well worth the trip to check out Beechworth but also to have the steak and pepper pie, spinach and cheese roll followed by the apple & cream turnover with a coffee here at the spacious Beechworth Bakery on a cold May 2022 day.
