The staff were incredibly kind and generous when I didn't know it was cash only and didn't have a card on me to get cash out. Happily waited for my partner to arrive and gave chips to my hungry child while we waited. They even said they'd be happy for us to come back later to pay!
Portion of fish were so large we couldn't finish it!
Only 4 stars for the food as I think my fish must've had some sort of contact with shellfish (maybe same batter?) as I had a mild allergic reaction - I possibly should've have made sure - just haven't had this happen in so long - this was our first time using Arlesey Fish and Chips as Stofold one has now closed.

Food Is excellent! The fish especially! tasty generous portions. The couple running the chips shop are very friendly good humoured and welcoming. Definitely recommend

Massive piece of cod and fabulous chunky chips. Best in the area. Just one thing. Could you cook a battered Richmond meatless sausage for my son next time. But absolutely bloody marvellous the best chips around.
