Review for Poached Coffee Shop: I recently had the pleasure of visiting Poached Coffee Shop, and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The atmosphere of the place was warm and inviting, with a cozy interior that made me feel right at home. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the air, setting the perfect mood for a relaxing coffee break. One of the highlights of my visit was the exceptional service provided by Sara and Rachel. From the moment I walked in, they greeted me with genuine smiles and a friendly attitude. Their knowledge of the coffee menu was impressive, and they were more than willing to offer recommendations based on my preferences. Their passion for coffee was evident, and it added an extra layer of enjoyment to my overall experience. Now, let's talk about the coffee itself. It was undoubtedly one of the best cups of coffee I've had in a long time. The baristas at Poached Coffee Shop truly know their craft. The beans were clearly of high quality, and the brewing process was done with precision, resulting in a rich and flavorful cup that was simply heavenly. Whether you prefer a classic espresso or a fancy latte with intricate latte art, they have it all covered. Beyond the coffee, the menu also offered an array of delicious treats that complemented the beverages perfectly. I couldn't resist trying some of their freshly baked pastries, and they did not disappoint. The pastries were fresh, flaky, and packed with delicious fillings, making them an excellent accompaniment to my coffee. The ambiance at Poached Coffee Shop was perfect for both catching up with friends or enjoying some peaceful me-time. The seating arrangements were comfortable, and the soft background music added to the overall charm of the place. In conclusion, I highly recommend Poached Coffee Shop to all coffee enthusiasts and anyone looking for a delightful café experience. The combination of great coffee, delectable pastries, and the exceptional service provided by Sara and Rachel makes this place stand out. I'm looking forward to my next visit to Poached Coffee Shop to indulge in their coffee and immerse myself in the welcoming atmosphere once again.

Met up with my brother-in-law for breakfast; I can't speak for them, but I had the poached special w/ chilli jam instead of brown sauce & a side of garlic mushrooms. All the individual elements were really well cooked & went together perfectly - one thing I'd recommend though: if you want your eggs runny, make sure to ask! In hindsight, there was plenty to fill me up without adding a side of mushrooms, which nontheless were cooked exactly as they should be (which is *not* a soggy mess!) I ordered a black americano, and you can tell that the beans weren't burnt (as opposed to some coffee chains (Costa)) and of a good quality as the entirety had a velvety taste to it. It's a perfect place for cute little get-togethers with a friend or, at a stretch, two - don't expect a group breakfast happening here as the space just won't allow for it. The place had seven people in it, including us, and it was basically full, but *definitely* check them out. The staff are friendly as can be and *will* deliver a top service.

In the middle of a nice area, cozy small cafe , with phenomenal coffee and breakfast , the brunch there is out of the world we had the chili eggs breakfast , their most famous is the poached special (haven't tried but seen ppl order it ), they have sweets (bites) and pastries. It's not the best place for working with laptops but you can read, for example, definitely a gem worth visiting .

I’m such a big fan of Poached! Their coffee is delicious, they’re really friendly and everything I’ve ever eaten here had been delicious. Special shout-out to the almond croissants they sell and today I tried a pretzel bun - they have meaty, veggie and vegan options to choose from - which was just perfect. A cosy, small coffee shop with about 4 tables to sit-in, a loo or very conveniently located for the train station. A Beckenham gem!
