The Cake Bin

Here was my experience: 1) My 5 year old daughter picks out a birthday cake with pink piping around it. The owner says to take the smaller one with brown piping because it is the right size for the number of people we have. We go with the cake with pink piping because that's the color we want and the price difference is 5 bucks. He says I'm spoiling the kid. The cake turned out to be average so 3 out of 5 stars. 2) We order a bunch of large cookies to take home. 5 year old daughter and 6 year old nephew takes a few bites and say they don't want to eat it anymore. I have never seen my daughter not eat an entire cookie. I tasted it myself and ended up tossing most of it. Cookies are a 1 out of 5. 3) We got some Elephant Ears, took a bite at home and tossed the rest of them. The Elephant Ears are a 1 out of 5. 4) We got the cheesecake. We asked for half a pound but the owner insisted we got to buy half of what has sitting in the case (it turned out to be 1.5 pounds but he knocked off 75 cents from the cost). The cheesecake was 4 out of 5. Based on the taste of things and the gruff attitude, I rate this place no more than a 2.

I ordered a cake. A whip cream cake, which is hard to find. It wasn't super cheap or super expensive .It was delicious. Really delicious. Very light and fresh like it should have been . Yes, it's a little different in there .it's not an experience you'd get in a mall .it's a guy who's been on business for decades, has but up with people's nonsense for all that time. People are pretty petty
