Just been in on a very busy Tuesday evening and everything was great! Unfortunately there was a lot of very rude and obnoxious customers in. With only two members of staff working the young lady on the floor was extremely polite, friendly and kept on smiling whilst delivering us brilliant customer service. Pies were obviously great and a perfect rainy evening comfort food.

Needed something for lunch and didn't want to grab something on the go, so I popped in here for the first time. Staff were attentive and friendly. I didn't want a drink, but the lady was kind enough to offer me tap water, which was a nice touch, few places would do this. I went for the Express Lunch offer, which is £8.50 for Pie Mash and Gravy, which is good value for the city centre. The pie was tasty and well presented, also with a sensible amount of gravy. Food was served in good time, and the staff were attentive throughout and offered excellent service. This is a good value restaurant serving honest tasty food in a nice environment with good service. 👍 What's not to like? Will definitely return again to try a different pie 🥧 😋

Came here for dinner as my partner loves pies. We got the shroom and British hen? Pies were delicious and are very filled, we got extra sides but the mash was weirdly seasoned with vinegar? Texture and looks of the mash was unusual and for 3.75 (if im not wrong) we expected a bigger portion than that, you’ll find more potatoes in Cornish pies than this. Can’t complain about the fries. Gravy on the other hand was slightly bitter and had no foundation, we corrected it by ourselves with their home made spicy ketchup which was lovely. There was a 2 for 1 cocktail promo.
