Pleasant enough store, much larger than expected (it was our 1st visit since we moved) and was given free flowers 🙂

Busy, but not too busy for a Saturday. Got most items, but not all. Was going to stop for a drink in the cafe, but £2.25 for a pot of hot water, tea bag & splash of milk seemed a bit excessive. Perhaps Waitrose should set an example & drop the price to £1.99 to encourage more shoppers?

I needed to use the bathroom as I have a Cant Wait card and I went to the cafe but the toilets were out of order ( they have been out of order for a long time apparently) but SHANIA was very very helpful and went out of her way to show me where the other toilets were ( again 1 wasn’t working ). She was so helpful and kind and saved me !!

What a great Waitrose, all that you would expect from a Waitrose, large mordern spacious and clean. Free 2 hour parking on the roof, large coffee shop on the first floor. Conveniently located in the middle of Basingstoke

Open air parking is usually plentiful. However, Waitrose are upgrading their carpark. This has reduced parking capacity by approximately half. Staff members are helpful and knowledgable.

Great supermarket. The store is nicely laid out, with wide enough aisles to make it easy to get around.
They have a good selection of freshly baked bread, and their wine has recently reopened.
Trolleys are plentiful, and there is need to carry around a pound coin to unlock them.
The counters for fish, meat and the deli are excellent. Everything looks really fresh and staff are very helpful.
Car park is easy to navigate with enough trolley parks.
